Quite a thick and bulky umbrella, I was a little disappointed to note that the colour choice is only on the inside of the brolly. You can tell it will do a great job when used in the sun, to protect you from the rays!The folding mechanism works well and although it does compact up reasonably well, it's too big, heavy, and bulky to keep in my handbag on a regular basis. However it's great to keep by the front door or in the car so you always have it when you need it!

This does a really good job of blocking the sun, but it is very heavy and bulkry and therefore not so easy to carry around in a bag unless you don't mind that weight. You don't notice the weight as much when it's popped open, though. The cover bag has a zipper on it that makes it easy to put the umbrella in. It is a bit strange looking because of the silver color-- like something from Star Trek lol -- but when its 35 or 40 degrees C outside you will be happy to have this to shield yourself from the scorching sun.

This parasol/umbrella is my essential travel companion as I go about my life in Spain. I have Cutaneous Lupus which means I have photosensitivity and I can now shade my head, face and neck safely (aswell as wearing sunblock) without having to wear hats which make my head too hot! The reflective outer prevents the sun's rays from coming through which gives me more confidence to go out and about. Really pleased with this purchase!

I am undergoing chemo so I needed an umbrella that would provide protection, durability, and be light weight enough to carry for a lengthy period of time. It does all of the above. In fact, first time out for a walk with this and the wind blew the umbrella inside out and quickly went back to its intended shape. All this without any damage. Not so for my other umbrella which is why I bought this one. All this with an 18 mo warranty. Seems like a no brainer. And the final touch is the large case that uses Velcro to close shut. No more trying to squeeze the umbrella into a tiny case. It opens easily with a push of the button and it does take a little bit of strength to close it but I find this to be true with all automatic umbrellas. Again, totally satisfied!

Arrived smelling of rotting fish. But the real problem is that it broke on the 3rd use. Also all the joints are rusting. You get what you pay for I guess.
