OK here is my experience with this headset, it may be different for you.One detail to note, I never powered up the headset to check out graphics and etc. and this is why .. I couldn't get it comfortable on my face. When I first unboxed it and picked it up I was so excited at the lightweight feel of the headset and that it had an adjustable hardstrap. However, when I put it on all the weight lay squarely on the bridge of my nose. The top strap is elastic rubber and has 3 adjustments .. I thought one of them would relieve the weight. Not really. The other design flaw is that the cushion for the back of the head where the adjustable wheel is sits too far up, making the headset slide forward onto the nose even more and not feeling secure. Trying to compensate by tightening the wheel puts a lot of pressure on the forehead causing a lot of discomfort. The gasket is far from substantial like a foam interface would be, and let in a lot of light from the side, at least for me. So without even turning the headset on I'll have to return it unfortunately. It can be a great product if they fix these problems, I love that it's lightweight.

I got this to try out a different VR headset. I have used a few VR headsets in the past, including the Rift S, the Quest 1, and most recently the Quest 3. This one is most comparable to the Quest 3, but without the stand alone capabilities. It is reasonably comfortable to use, and set up was fairly easy. It is a similar experience to using the Quest 3 in PC VR in a lot of ways. I think my preference is for the Quest 3 with a replacement strap over this, but if I just had this headset I wouldn't be unhappy.

This headset, if you get a functioning unit, is only really good for one use case: Seated experiences with your own headphones, not using the controllers.When I got this headset, I saw reviews that the speaker quality wasn't up to par, but it was remedied by the headphone jack and included earbuds. That was a lie, as the buit-in DAC for the headphones had an incredibly high noise floor, where all I could hear while playing was static with a hint of the game's audio.While playing, I noticed the controller tracking was not up to par either. I play Beat Saber, and the entire time I attempted to play it the controllers were lagging behind my actual hand position by a good margin, making the game unplayable.If you are looking into this headset, I'd recommend staying as far away from it as possible. You would get a better, and cheaper, PCVR experience getting a Quest 2, a better headstrap, and either a link cable or a WiFi 6 router.

I have a modern system with an ASUS TUF 4090. That being said, there should be ZERO issues. Main issue is setup and getting it to detect the display port. It will randomly detect it whenever it feels like. Maybe they made the cable too long and you need a DP repeater? Anyway, I refuse to buy one in order to make this thing work. If it require a dp repeater, it should come with it.

My son has owned and used a variety of different VR headsets over the last several years. He was really excited to try this one. One thing that needs to be very clear: this is not a standalone VR headset. It requires being plugged into a pretty powerful computer to use, with a dedicated video card that has an available DisplayPort. As a result, you are not free to walk around in a very large area. You will be tethered to a computer. It does come with a relatively long cord, but you can't see where the cord is while you're playing, so you need to be hyper aware of where that Cable is if you're walking around in a room playing a game.Here's what makes this headset great:• The headset is comfortable and breathable, it doesn't get uncomfortable or warm to wear after a couple of hours like other headsets do.• When the view is in focus, the clarity is very good and text is sharp and readable.• The screen refresh rate is excellent.• The flip up headset is nice for easily switching to the PC to change settings, modify controls, type messages to friends, etc.• The controller tracking is excellent for an inside out headset.There are a few things that are not so great though:• The speakers are not very good, they sound very tiny. This is easily remedied with a pair of headphones, which do fit over the top of the headset.• The hinge design coupled with a very tight focus sweet spot makes it easy for the headset to move out of focus, and we frequently found we had to move it back into place / make adjustments while playing a game.• There is no hardware interpupillary distance adjustment.It's also worth mentioning that the screen hardware is identical to other popular VR headsets on the market, but this has a bit of an advantage because it's got a lot more processing power from the PC than the other standalone VR headsets with the same optics and screen. As result, the viewing experience is actually better on this than on other popular standalone headsets.
