Size of the clips makes attachment to battery posts, etc. difficult. Otherwise the value and performance are great

Ehhhh, ya get what ya pay for. Decent for the $$
The soldering on the wires to alligator clips were insanely small. One broke off second time tried to use on a battery. Luckily I solder n repair stuff all the time so I just actually opened the whole plastic box up and I installed much thicker wires and soldered to the programming board on this item so I wouldn’t have any other issues.The alligator clamps are insanely small, u can’t get them Around any car batter posts that’s for sure! So, that’s kinda pointless isn’t it? As that’s what this is for…? Anyways. Adding someLarger clamps instead, and knowing how to solder somewhat, and u could make a nice item out of this for the price.It seemed to work correctly. Came quickly. Price was cheap so I can’t say too much. I got what I laid for I guess. I won’t complain much, I’m happy now after I’ve switched the stuff listed around andMade this item a lot nicer !I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this item. Spend a tad bit more and get something much nicer. But, for what I paid, I’m still decently happy. But quality wise, this item def falls short! Mucho short!

Small but perfect
Small and works great! Wires are thin which allow you to close the hood. Bought several for a boat, generator, car, lawnmower and they each do a great job.

Perfect charging for SMALL 12volt batteries. Won’t overheat them
The media could not be loaded. Lightweight small charger that’s perfect for the small 12 volt batteries. The 1000mA output won’t overheat small batteries as it’s charging them. I’ve also used this to replace solar cells on my greenhouse during the winter. I don’t like using bigger output chargers for the smaller batteries. It’s worked perfectly at keeping the smaller batteries topped off and running great. When i say “small” 12 volt batteries, I’m referring to smaller motorcycle or lawn tractor size, such as the size you’d find in a kid’s electric car. Not something like a large fishing boat deep cell marine battery, although if it’s fully charged i think this would definitely keep it topped off during winter storage. Also i noticed the LED is solid red when charging and green when fully charged, BUT it seems to flash green/red as it get close to full charge.

Not really a 3-stage charger
It's hard to bash on it too much because of how inexpensive it is. This is not comparable to other more expensive battery charger/maintainers. Long story short, this is little more than a 13.7v power supply. It does sorta work though.It seems a little deceiving to call it a 3-stage charger, which typically has a bulk charging mode, an adsorption charge mode, and a float mode. All these three modes have different voltage outputs and thresholds. This charger has just a single voltage output and two modes, red for under 13.7v and green for over.Typically a "DUMB" charger like this should not be left on a battery for a very long time, however, the output voltage is more similar to that of a float charger so it shouldn't really hurt anything.If used as a charger, due to the lack of the bulk charging mode, I imagine it must take eons.
