Cup is exactly as shown in picture with the beautiful shade of red swirled with black. I’m not a coffee drinker but this cup is the perfect size for hot chocolate on cold nights. I usually don’t make hot chocolate because I’m not a fast drinker of it and it always goes cold on me nd it’s drink it that way or keep going back and forth to a microwave. It is a good solid cup, the lid could be more secure but this is standard in this type of cup. I prefer lids that twist on and definitely aren’t going anywhere. This type of lid can pop off if dropped the wrong way. This is absolutely normal and not a point against, but I’d like to see one made that could be better secured. That being said, the lid does fits nice and snug exactly as it should to keep the warm steam inside and I like the sliding mechanism that you simply push back for the spout. I really like the little lip your finger can go under to pull the lid off nice and easy. No trying not to splash yourself from recoil when prying loose a lid like many others have. Not being a coffee drinker I don’t use this type very often for comparison, what I know is from watching my sister with her various ones which usually do have soda in them but she likes the handle factor on these cup types. Cup exactly as expected.

Overall I rate this "odd but functional" - it's not obvious from the pictures but it's not round - the bottom section is a rounded off square shape. The handle is as pictured - scalene trapezoidal handle is "interesting" in appearance. Note also that the lid is opaque - where many of these are clear. The finish is also "bubbly" - where each color blotch is actually a raised bubble over the base material.I review a lot of these items with laser engraving in mind and this one would be a hard pass on that account. I couldn't in good conscience give it a lower rating since it never claims to be suitable for engraving - and if you're into more artsy mugs, you might actually give this a 5 star rating, but for me it's a solid 4 star performer.

This is a great quality mug. It is well designed, durable, and easy to clean. It keeps tea warm for hours. I also like that it is a smaller size than a lot of other similar tumblers out there. For those that just want something that is equal in size to a large cup of coffee, this is for you.The color is beautiful: dark and defined. I got a colorful dark green one and love it. The sliding mechanism works great. No complaints here!

Keeping my coffee and tea nice and hot almost all day! At least until I finish it

This mug is crafted with stainless steel inside and coated with a thin plastic coating outside. Even the handle is plastic and I don't know if it is strong enough for constant use. So far, it is keeping my coffee hot for a couple of hours and I am okay with that. Shipping was quick.

The look is nice! The lid leaks when tipped over. Keeps drink hot while I chase small kids and get back to it. I would like it to come with different lid designs. Rubber bottom is nice.

I'm a teacher. Sometimes I'll make a cup of coffee, put a lid on it, and then I won't touch it for another two hours, so keeping my coffee hot is important to me. This cup accomplishes that. I put some coffee run through my Keurig into the mug at 10 a.m. I checked it every hour and it was still warm. At 4:00, it was still warm and drinkable, and that's when I concluded my test. Keeping it warm for six hours is definitely a thumbs up.The other thing I care about is leaking. It doesn't leak when you are drink out of it. I took several sips and waited for a bead of coffee to appear on the lip so that I'd inadvertently spill when I took the next sip. That did not happen. The lip area remains free of coffee, so no little droplets fall unexpectedly on your clothes.It did leak when I held it sideways over the sink. In fact, it poured out over the side as a stream, so if you are in situations where the cup could tip over, this isn't the mug for you. It actually leaked less holding it totally upside down. Just a few drips.Looks wise, it's a good-looking cup. I received a number of compliments on it.

I have been using a less-expensive wide-base 16-oz vacuum-insulated stainless steel coffee cup for several years, which was beginning to show it's age with water leakage stains under the outer plastic decorative coating. I had hopes that this Ideus would serve as a replacement, but am surprised at how much better it has proven to be. On first glance, the Ideus is 70 to 80% smaller and lighter, and only pouring a full cup from the old to the new proved the liquid capacity to be THE SAME. Closer inspection revealed that the Ideus cup walls are much thinner, although the hot/cold retention times are claimed to be much longer, verified by actual testing with hot coffee this morning, and iced tea this afternoon. I can only conclude that the vacuum insulation is at least twice as effective as the older cup.My other concern was the wide base of the old cup, specifically chosen to avoid spillage on an unstable armchair table. Both cups have soft rubber bottom pads, but the Ideus pad is more slip-resistant and covers more of the bottom surface, resulting in comparable resistance to slipping and tipping.Overall, the Ideus cup is well worth the cost, and seems designed to last a long time unless dropped on a hard surface.

It is a strange phenomenon to hold a cold cup and yet the liquid inside is very hot. However this cup does exactly that! It keeps liquids hot for ages, especially with the lid on. I have had a cup of coffee steaming hot for over an hour, until finally I had to remove the lid in order for it to cool sufficiently to drink comfortably.It is the perfect accompaniment to outdoor recreation; hiking, working etc.I took a walk earlier and made a nice, hot cup of coffee to take with me; my dogs and I walked for over an hour and with the temperature outside being cold, it kept my coffee hot throughout, in fact I still had some left when we came back and it was still hot!Being stainless it will last a very long time, it is easy to clean and the mouthpiece from the lid comes off for proper cleaning. It is not heavy at all, in fact it is hardly noticeable without liquid. It has a high class finish that is very easy to clean and lends to the overall look.If you are looking for a strong, lasting vacuum mug to keep your beverage of choice hot for hours, look no further. I highly recommend it.

I an absolutely in love with this insulated coffee mug! It keeps my drinks hot for 8 hours and cold for 12 hours – super handy. The design is cool, and it holds a big 16 oz, so fewer trips to refill. Easy to clean with a quick rinse, but be careful, the lid isn't spill-proof. Great for home, school, or office. Awesome gift too!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great insulated coffee mug. Holds approx. 3/4 pint (400ml) of liquid. It states it holds 470ml but, however this would be filling mug right to the lip of mug. Nice and light mug and feels nice to the touch. The lid fits snug on top and has a very easy sliding lid to keep the heat in. Drinking from it is spot on too.. The mug is made from stainless steel and also states it can keep liquids warm for upto 8 hours. I cannot vouch for this, as my coffee is drank within 30 - 45 minutes. At 45 minutes my coffee is still red hot. ALso suitable for cold drinks too.

The grey leopard design is subtle but really pretty, the mug is a good size, and seems well made and sturdy.The lid comes off easily for cleaning/filling, and the drinking spout you open/close with a smooth sliding motion. (see my video)I filled the mug with boiled water and left it on the side for 6.5 hours, and when I opened the lid, the water was still quite hot. (My temperature probe read 43 degrees.)Easy to hand wash after use, but it's not leak-proof, so be careful if you pop it in your bag/in the car etc.Overall, I'm really pleased with it, it works well enough for myself. There are probably better ones out there, but I think this is a good all-rounder for quality and style.

The media could not be loaded.  I dithered a bit selecting which design to go for but finally settled on this fabulous leopard grey.I just love the designs on offer. They’re a bit more ‘grown up’ and they perform better than any other I’ve had.They really do keep my drinks warm for several hours and I don’t like having to grab a cup that’s too big for my hand. Even when they are textured they never feel secure. This handle is perfect and a great design. I’m never going to drop it and finally I have a good sized insulated coffee mug that looks fab and is easy to hang on to.In the summer my iced tea will stay cold too, so it’s awesome.I’d definitely recommend it.If you enjoy a hot beverage on your commute or dog walk this one is definitely worth a shot.In my opinion it’s a fair price, and well made.I hope you find my review helpful.
