Outdoor Wide Brim Sun Protect Hat, Classic US Combat Army Style Bush Jungle Sun Cap for Fishing Hunting Camping

I bought this hat right before a beach vacation, to block the sun. When it came in the mail, we just threw it in the luggage without inspection and headed out. When I got it out at the beach, as you can see in the picture, the stitching was defective/not done. I stuffed it back in the bag and tossed it in the trash.

Bought this to wear working outside in the HEAT. Serves it purpose very well shading my face and keeping it from getting burned. I wear it to do my yard work maybe 3 times between washings, and yes, by then it DEFINITELY needs it, However, I highly recommend washing in cold water and mild detergent. To keep from possible fading and shrinking. I wash my hat with other cold washable clothes in our washing machine. I then let the hat air dry. I didn’t buy this for dress. But to work in and it’s serving it’s purpose very well. Very fair price.

I previously gave these folks a bad review because part of one of the brim snaps was missing. I loved the color and the fit its a real nice hat. I emailed them with the problem and their response was immediate and very friendly. They are sending me a replacement right away. Great customer service. I give them 5 stars now.

While this hat may be perfect for a day outdoors, and provide you the needed protection from the sun during the spring, summer, and autumn seasons, it is not a hat for everyone. I do like the lightweight and comfortable material, which does seem to be high-quality, I do NOT like the hat only comes in one size. The product description, which highlights how the adjustable chin strap "allows for a custom fit," is misleading, as the hat does run small, and will be a challenge for an average adult male to wear. If you do order, make sure to check your order as soon as it arrives, even if it is a gift. Otherwise, the return window is short, and Amazon will charge you a restocking fee (nearly 20%), which is unfair, given the low price of this product. Make sure you know what you are getting if you order this product!

This hat fits perfect! I am a 7 3/4 head size and it fits comfortably well. I also love the choice of colors and patterns and its perfect for the summer and all other weather conditions. I highly recommend it and also its vendor zheytrading for the quality of its products. It got to me fast also and its shipping rates are very reasonable.Definitely 5 Stars!

My dermatologist told me if I do not start wearing a broad-brimmed hat when I am outside in the sun, I will need a total face and head transplant. Well, that could a bit of an exaggeration, but he did tell me to wear a hat to lessen skin damage from solar radiation. This works well and it is great for hiking, running, mowing the yard, digging up cactus and other Texas outdoor activities. Highly recommended to reduce cumulative exposure to solar radiation to the face, ears, nose, etc. Plus, the hat looks cool.

Comfortable, even on my big head. This is a light feeling cotton/poly blend that dries fast and doesn't get all bogged up with sweat when things get hot. Both snaps work, and brim is wide enough to keep the sun off the tops of my ears. It doesn't get all 5 stars because 1) the plastic clasp on the drawcord is pretty darn cheap, don't expect it to last long. And 2) there is no brow liner to soak up sweat like you would find in a ball cap or straw hat.. so not the nicest feel on your forehead, but it still works. On the other hand, you can roll this hat up and pack it away without ruining it and that's a plus. Overall pretty satisfied with the hat, especially given the price.

First off, I ordered navy and received black. I think this was an honest mistake so I am not going to bother with a return. Black will work fine for me. As some other reviews noted, the fabric on the top of the hat is very thin. I could hold it up to my face and still read what I am typing right now. Not sure how that would impact sun protection. My hair is a bit thin on the top of my head and I suspect that the thin fabric may let a fair amount of UV in. On the flip side, that thin fabric will allow heat to quickly dissipate off the top of my head so there is a plus and a minus to the thin fabric. I would also note that I am a fairly average sized man and the hat is fairly loose on me. Wind would instantly flip it off my head and there is no way to tighten (generally boonie hats don't) for head size. While that makes this hat 'fit' anyone it also means that 95% of the population will be wearing a very loose hat which will require using the chin strap and looking kind of silly. I detected no flaws in manufacturing.I did not rate the durability at this time. If that becomes an issue I will adjust this review.

These hats are flimsy, do not protect the top of the hard,although they shield the eyes a little and protect the back of the neck For a man with a balding pate they offer no protection.Which is where a man needs protection when gardening or doing jobs out of doors.I would like to return them, but there is no local shop that can read the the instructions--the only drop off shop with the right reader is in another town entirely!Thus I have no way of returning something which we cannot use and which I had cancelled within minutes of it being orderered==however,as it still arrived,it was looked at and tried with the poor results mentioned above.

I bought this hat to add to my wild camping gear. More for the summer months than winter, as it didn’t look particularly warming (it’s not really advertised for that purpose either). I have a large head and hats are usually a nightmare. But this fits perfectly and even better, with enough space to fit over my shemagh (but is not too wide without it) when used as a head covering, so it will actually be able to be warm year round.It looks the part, sturdy poppers to pin the brim up at either side, good sized strap and strong pattern. But crumpled from delivery, but I picked it up and hour ago and it’s already loosened up. I think with wear, this will soften up a bit.

My husband needed a hat like this to replace his very old and battered one. Whilst searching this hat seemed to fit the bill and we were impressed with choice of colours. It can be fastened up at the sides with a strong presstud, though I shouldn't think he will do that. When we travel to hotter sunnier climates he likes to keep the sun off his head and eyes. I hadn't realised it was coming all the way from China at such a reasonable price. It certainly fits the bill and arrived quite quickly. I cannot say how long it will last but at that price one holiday will be enough. Courteous sellers ,swift delivery ,product as described and a little key ring gift, what could we want. Thankyou.

We've had a good laugh with this hat. The shape is odd with a very high head part. Because the material is soft it doesn't keep the shape well. The brim is okay. My husband is a normal hat size Large. This hat sits perched on top of his head. It's hilarious.I also tried the hat and am a woman normal size Medium. It drops down over my eyes haha! The shape of the hat reminds me of a Canadian Mountie hat with a very high top part.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He really loves it - it was exactly what he wanted. He has gotten others, but the brim was either too small to shade his eyes or too big. With this one, it is the right size to keep the water off the back of his neck when it rains and shade his eyes in the sun...and keep his head covered!
