Fondarific Grey Fondant, Buttercream, 2.0 Pound

Note in advance: I am not a professional cake decorator. I took a class or 2 and have decorated many a kiddo birthday cake, but I am not a pro and I am sure someone with a lot of experience would have had an easier time with this product.This is by far the best tasting fondant, and for simple fondant work it is great, but for anything with detail this stuff is a headache. It is always very sticky and as such any shapes you cut out of this will be very difficult to move without the shape being wrecked. There is an insert in it that gives directions on how to work with it if it is too sticky, and we followed the directions on them. These directions helped with the rolling out and cutting of the fondant, but by the time we had to transition the pieces to the cake it was no longer helpful and in general it was a pain in the butt. We had to scrap all the pieces we cut out and mix up a batch of grey in a different brand. If using this brand in the future we will be sticking to very basic stuff, with no details or shape cutting out.

This product is labeled grey but is actually hot pink!! I received this order right before I needed to make a 2 tier elephant themed cake and was so angry. I did receive my money back, but beware that u may not get an accurate color. (White fondant mixed with a tiny bit of black makes grey fyi!!)

Easy to use for beginners

not really the grey I was going for its more like a really dark grey, but was really nice to work with and I mixed it with white fondant for a lighter grey

I used black straws to hold the elephant to the cake, the fondant was supposed to be grey and it is almost black.

It was easy to use, darker than I thought but I’m not disappointed

Best fondant on the market!! Amazing taste and easy to form/use.

Best fondant I've used so far. The grey was a little darker than I wanted, but taste wise it can't be beat.
