Took a long time choosing this item after reading reviews. We have a bosh induction hob and this plate works a dream. It’s too big to fit into our oven to do the initial seasoning so I done it on the hob letting it get red hot before applying a little vegetable oil and letting it cool. Bacon tastes great and cooks very quickly, steaks are succulent.Either side can be used so you can give your steaks the restaurant type searing. Just remember to season it after cleaning and if done properly it won’t display rust.As expected the plate is quite heavy and I advise you not to move it around the hob by pushing- make sure you lift it to avoid scratching the hob.I wish we’d have bought this much sooner as it’s an excellent addition to our culinary equipment.

Item said suitable for induction hob only worked on the dredged side and also said it was pre- reasoned but came with instructions how to season it

Cast iron is supposed to work on induction hobs and I assume this is why the write up only states gas and electric as although reversible, the griddle side doesn't make contact with the hob so won't heat up. However, I amnhappy with this as it was the griddle I wanted which works beautifully on my induction cooker. It sits nice and flat, heats evenly and works well.

I was so pleased with the quality of the skillet I bought from Pinnacle Cookware that I also bought this griddle from them. The griddle makes cooking breakfast so much easier, as it has a large surface area and is so much better than using a frying pan. One side is smooth...perfect for bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc. The other side is ribbed which is great for steaks. It's also very easy to clean. Another great product made in the U.K.

My wife and I are going through a health trip at the moment for the summer so we decided to start grilling our food. We purchased this griddle and haven’t had any regrets about it. Being reversible we can cook chargrilled chicken breast and vegetables on the ridged side, any excess fats are drained to side giving us a healthy meal. The flat side we mainly use breakfasts, its great for cooking eggs and bacon.The grill itself is large and durable. It covers two of my burners on my stove, and not much oil is needed when cooking, in fact it works fine with the spray on olive oil I use.Maintaining the griddle is breeze thanks to the instruction provided on the box as I season with a light layer of olive oil and heat it up so it can be absorbed.Overall very pleased with my purchase. Packaged well also
