Handy piece of kit
Got a good deal on prime day. Bought because compatible with mikita battery. Perfect, using this more than the larger circular saw as lighter and smaller and bonus has a laser light. A+

Fantastic Little Versatile Saw
The media could not be loaded. What a great tool, lightweight, powerful and very easy and comfortable to use.Everything feels reasonably rugged and well made and the saw guide is accurate. Perfect for cutting sheet materials or 2 by 4 giving nice, clean, reasonably quick cuts.Makita Batteries fit perfectly and work well and the blades are easy to swap out with the included allen key which stores away on the saw itself.I thought the laser guide would be pointless but it actually works really well when initially lining up the cut, it also works on the 45 degree too, brilliant design.Only used it on timber and plastic so far but I imagine this will work really well for cutting tiles with the diamond blade.Overall brilliant, I can't really fault it.

Value for money
Easy to use, the battery is not included and this cost around £50, it is versatility because of the small size with good quality and is portability for short trips.

A cut above in DIY projects
Venturing into DIY projects, I found this cordless saw indispensable. Its compatibility with batteries I already owned was a huge plus, saving me from additional expenses. The freedom to work without cords has made my projects more enjoyable and less restrictive. Adjusting angles and depths to fit the task at hand is straightforward, and the laser guide ensures precision cuts every time. While its cutting power is notable, I've had to learn the ins and outs of the blade change mechanism, which could be more intuitive. Its ergonomic design has made long hours of work less taxing on my hands.

Powerful little saw
The media could not be loaded. I've had a 240v small circular saw for ripping boards for a long time and was sceptical that battery devices could be as good, I was wrong. This bare unit uses Makita 18v batteries and generic cells are available cheaply if you don't have them. The saw comes with useful blades for wood and hard materials. I only tested the wood saw, but it was fine. The unit has a very bright laser guide as photo shows. The cut area is also lit by a bright led which is particularly useful as you come to the junction of 2 cuts. There is also an attachable guide, which is ok, but a fence is better. Blade attachment is via a removable hex bolt, it undoes clockwise. The supplied hex wrench isn't great and I used my quality item.In use I tested on 5.5mm MDF and on 1cm thick larch weatherboard. In both instances the cut was easy and straight requiring very little forward force. The motor was amply powerful for this. Easily as good as my mains unit. Apart from the convenience of not having trailing mains leads, the unit is light and well balanced in use.Apart from the poor hex wrench I really liked this saw. Shame it doesn't have a custom case for storage but that's a minor issue.

Superb saw
This saw comes with a range of fittings for cutting various materials. As advertised it is compatible with Makita batteries, mine slot in and charge perfectly with this saw. The saw itself is well made and very easy to use, and for the price point it offer excellent value for money. I've mainly been using this to cut patio slabs, but I believe it can be used to cut a range of other materials.

Good size saw, not too big or too small, easy to carry around

A big step up for Mellif tools!
The first Mellif power tool to convey confidence right out of the box. And I must say, the box itself is my one complaint. It's barely adequate protection even when packed inside a *second* carton (see photos).Fortunately, the tool evinces keen attention to detail. A teardown revealed surprisingly high-quality components & construction, in a design that incorporates several nice touches to improve usability.Overall, it's very competitive with similar models from DeWalt and others — not merely on the basis of price for what comes in the kit, but also on comparison of size, weight and the cutting power delivered.

Top Produkt
