Dark Grey Groutin Grout Reviver, Restore

Delivered fast and started yesterday, quite time consuming but very happy how well it covers. Gets quite messy but if you clean as you go it comes straight off the tiles leaving just the grout stained.

The instructions on the tin are short and to the point and make the application appear easy. In my case, the reality was different. I had just fitted porcelain tiles on my kitchen wall with beige grout. We then decided that we did not like the grout and wanted dark grey so Groutin seemed to fit the bill.I applied the Groutin to a small area first to see how it went. When I came to wipe off the excess it was difficult to clear the excess off the tile as it had a rough finish. Probably on a shiny glazed tile this would not be an issue. Also the Groutin had not penetrated the grout so that came off also. Not the result I wanted.I decided to carefully paint the Groutin directly on the grout only, which was time consuming, then leave it to dry without wiping over. I did not succeed in keeping totally to the grout and some went onto the tile but as I was after a shabby finish anyway this was not an issue.I am happy with the finished result. However, as a previous review has noted, the colour definitely has a hint of blue to it which luckily for me was not a problem.So the product will cover grout with a new colour but could wipe off again if you follow the instructions. Also if you have textured tiles it may be difficult to clean the excess off them. I recommend to test a small area first to see how you go.

Easy to paint on with small artist size brush. Quick drying and very easy to remove any excess with damp cloth. Overall finish very nice elinimating tired look that the grout had magnified by the very dark ceramic tiles.As only small amount used will be easy to touch up every so often as required.

The instructions tell you to go along with a damp cloth to clean the tiles as you go. I found this took the colour off the grout, so instead use a dry cloth or blue roll and wipe them as you go. This worked fantastic. Be advised it will stick to silicone and any plastic tile surrounds but it comes off with some pvc cleaner. The end result was fantastic. When the tiny tin arrived I thought that’s never going to be enough. I could have done my kitchen 10 times over with it. It goes a long way. Definitely recommend.

It looks really good but I have no doubt that it will need touching up regulary (because of kids) but thats no biggy and theres plenty left.

...so if you need to cover a larger area, beware. It is quite thin liquid but it didn't drip. Colour a medium grey. I thought it was darker.

Used this for my kitchen tiles turned out ok

Has revived our kitchen floor. Easy to apply my only comment is that although I chose slate grey it comes out slightly blue
