Book seller was great, got in a timely manner with no problems. The book draws from VOC sources in Dutch East Indies, briefly covers VOC's history and specifically its rules on inter-marriage.

I travelled to Indonesia for work for the first time in 2010, and I started to wonder a lot about some of the history of the country, specifically how there seems to be little evidence of genetic mixing in the population unlike other countries colonised by Europeans, and this book answered all my questions and more. It's an excellent read!
