I ordered this coffee because I really enjoy a cup of Kona coffee. The price is on the high end but I always make my coffee at home so worth the splurge for a good cup of coffee. I was initially disappointed with the coffee. I tried the K-cups 4 days in a row to see if maybe some of the k-cups just weren't good. That wasn't it. I added my initial review here. (I had updated my initial review but it never posted so had to delete it and start over with this review). Jim from Blue Horse saw my review and reached out to me to try to make it right. He offered to ship my a new batch of the K-cups to try. He told me sometimes the flavor can be off because of the way Amazon stores the coffee and Blue Horse has no control over that. I was skeptical a fresh batch would make that much difference but I agreed to let him send me the coffee. I tried the coffee the next morning after receiving it and I must say I was surprised at the difference. The new batch was smooth and tasted like Kona coffee should. I brewed a cup from my original order and a cup from the new order to compare. No much difference in smell or the color of the coffee. But the taste was a big difference. I appreciate Blue Horse's excellent customer service, which you don't always find nowadays, and I do plan to order more of this coffee. Give it a try.

It has a good flavor and was a good price

I have been using a Keurig coffee machine since they were introduced out of convenience, but always understood that sacrifices in taste would be An acceptable trade-off if the coffee wasn’t too weak or too bitter. just tried blue horse coffee from Kona on the island of Hawaii. Some years ago, I brought back some coffee beans and ground my own for brewing. They were excellent. This coffee brings back memories and an unbelievably fresh taste. I have not experienced with a Keurig machine, please note, it is not cheap but the quality product never is. I will be buying more and I hope that the quality and the care in preparation is maintained for a long time and I will be a long time customer.William Griffin.

I have tried several cups of this stuff as have my colleagues here at work. The coffee tastes very definitely oxidized, old and stale. I thought maybe a bad K-cup had leaked air, so I tried several times. Absolutely terrible. I can not understand the good reviews - which is what I went by when I bought this. This stuff has been sitting on a shelf somewhere for the past year. Do not waste your money! Kona beans that sit around and oxidize are just old beans and taste as bad as any other coffee.I have an update. The Blue Horse coffee is actually quite good. However, sometimes the shipping and storage by Amazon isn't quite what is needed to preserve this flavor. (Sometimes it is just fine - depends). I tried another order and it was great. Also, the company Blue Horse got in touch immediately and offered a new fresh box - they are concerned with their product and very lovely people. So you can try your luck with Amazon or get it directly from them, either way you should get some of this coffee. I gave it a 4 stars - 5 for the coffee averaged with with a little lower because of Amazon.

I used to drink Kona coffee when I was in the Marines in the 90s. I loved it. This brand is about the best I have had. Rich flavor, perfect roast on the darker side of medium-dark. It has great flavor. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. I recently picked up a pound of ground coffee to use at home (I use the K Cups at work) and it is just awesome. I highly recommend this.

The 100% Kona coffee leaves an after taste and too expensive, not as good as the Dunkin Donut pods I presently use. Maybe I’m just not a connoisseur of coffees, I will not buy it again.

I have been looking for a good quality 100% Kona Coffee for several years. Some were good, but not what I would evaluate as excellent. I purchased a few different brands though Amazon, but for some reason my Keurig 2.0 would indicate that the pod was not compatible. This particular brand I just received yesterday. The pods work great, and the taste is spot on. Skip the research and purchase this brand from a small island family. You won’t be disappointed!

My coffee came in 2 packages. One was destroyed and several pods were crushed and grounds were everywhere inside the bag the box came in. Okay, that was probably shipping err. But of the 3 flavors ordered, node were as I expected. The flavors were bland and had no body. I tried changing cup size to see if I got a more bold flavor, but to no avail. They all tasted like cheap hotel coffee that gets served in the lobby. Sorry, but the coffee I had in the DR was the best. That pods I received were not good to me at all.
