Works great and super easy install
I have just purchased this item so I can’t give a review on how well long term use is but I will say so far it has worked exactly as advertised. Also it has been in extreme weather including rain and ice and is still working great so kudos there. If this product continues working I would say it has been one of my best purchases so far from Amazon.

Works great
So far the heat tape is working great. I measured and got the perfect size. It was very easy to install as it comes with plenty of tape, it seems to be of very good quality, then I just plug it in and it takes care of itself. I am very happy with my purchase.

Stopped working after 2 months
After about a month of use, the heat tape now trips breaker every time it's plugged in to whatever outlet.Update: MAXKOSKO reached out to me to resolve this issue to my satisfaction. Great Customer Service!

Here in North Texas we have freezing temps pipes freeze so far this yr it’s worked well it’s super easy to set up has it own thermostat so there is a Hugh plus great price

Stopped working after 6 weeks.
Worked great until it tripped breaker every time. I tried other circuits and tripped them too.

On a 14-foot unit, the extension is 6 feet, and the heating cable is 8 feet.It does work perfectly. Would buy it again.

Work well
Used the heat trace to wrap my lithium batteries in my boat. Work well to pre heat the batteries prior to charging when temps drop below freezing.
