My bike has new life
This gave my poor old bike new life. The old derailleur (close to 40 yrs old) had lost its spring tension and the chain was hanging slack. Even before that extreme failure it wasn't shifting right and kept slipping gears. The new derailleur fixed all of that immediately. I'm using it with a 5-speed freewheel and a friction shifter and it's working beautifully. I'm so happy with it that I ordered another one to put on my recumbent bike, which is starting to have trouble shifting gears too. Great product, good value.

Great replacement for the original cheap plastic unit that broke on my bike.
I have an old Huffy mountain bike I started riding again and the cheap rear derailleur with plastic guts broke; this one has way less plastic and seems more durable, functions smoothly and was relatively easy to install. I still have to fine tune the shifting but overall a good buy instead of having to throw away an otherwise good bike.

Fits Hyper havoc Walmart bike
I like this derailleur it was a big upgrade for our hyper havoc bike from Walmart. The old one kept slipping gears and could never adjust. I replaced them both with this kind and it fit and changes gears perfectly

Good quality, easy to install
I replaced a Shimoo derailleur and was a little shy about doing the install thinking it would be a long ordeal. But it turned out to be a 10 min install and about 20 mins to adjust for the smooth gear changes.

Good fit.
There are no installation instructions provided. The barcode that comes with it stating it is the instructions is not, it is a data sheet. Once installed it is a major pain to adjust properly. The quality is ok, almost all plastic including the gears. It is low cost for a complicated assembly, but that is due to the materials used.
