VViViD Black Felt for Vinyl Wrap Squeegees and Scratch Prevention, 1” Inch x 25ft (300 inch) Bulk Roll

I used this product for multiple things. First I used it on my squeegee to do vinyl wrap on my cap. It works great for that. The tape sticks great and the felt is the perfect thickness keeping the squeegee thin enough to work tight edges and flat surfaces.2nd I used this on the rubber seal of the back glass on my 2024 Bronco, where the tailgate closes against the rubber seal. Broncos are notorious for having a bad squeak where the rubber seal and metal tailgate touch. This felt strip makes it completely quiet and is thin enough to keep a nice tight seal when the gate is closed. The sticky tape sticks great to the rubber seal and gives it a nice factory look.I highly recommend this product.

Works perfect for a buffer on the inside of my mask so the mask doesn't rub your head. Good adhesion as well

I recently decided to do some vinyl and PPF on my car. While in the past I've gotten away with using regular squeegees or some disposable soft-edged squeegees, I've always considered myself lucky to not have damaged anything when installing. I thought this would be a good idea, as I can try a few different shaped tools such as some plastic trim removal tools, etc. and cover the edges in soft felt to avoid damaging what I was applying.I've used quite a few products from VViViD in the past, and as always the quality is top-notch. For some reason I was picturing in my head something a little thicker, but after seeing just how soft and flexible it is while also having very strong adhesive I was hooked. The 25' roll is probably enough to last me 10 lifetimes of vinyl installing (unless I choose to quit my job and install vinyl instead!), but after using it I realized there are so, so many other uses for this. I've put pieces on the legs of my furniture to protect the hardwood finish, I've put it under my espresso maker to make it easier to pull out from under the cabinets to refill the beans, and I've used it under my home theater equipment to protect the finish of my entertainment center.Just be cautious when using it to apply PPF- it does shed a little bit at first and if you're not careful you may get some fuzzies under the film. I just used the squeegees that I already used for the vinyl since they don't really shed after the initial little bit. Overall great stuff with many, many other uses as well!

good for the price

I do vinyl wrapping for automotive interiors from time to time. And for a squeegee felt replacement, this roll does a great job in saving me some money having to buy more squeegees. Nowadays, all I had to do is pull the old felt tape off and put this on and it's good like new. This felt tape has a thinner profile than my original kind, but it doesn't cause any irregularities in vinyl wrap application. The tape adhesive is good, I've gone through 3 of them so far and none of the adhesives peeled off unless I purposely go pull it. Overall, this is not a bad get if you're dealing with quite some vinyl wrapping work. I wonder if I can use this for window tint applications; not for my car, for the home window as I don't think I know how to work tint film on curved windows. Anyway, this is a good felt tape to refresh the vinyl application squeegees. No complaints.

It comes apart almost instantly. The black felt detaches from the grey adhesive part if it's pulled or stretched.

I know this felt is intended to cover a squeegee edge but it's also a perfect solution for anything that needs a nice, soft buffer to protect vulnerable surfaces. I used it to pad the bottom of my speaker that sits on my black lacquer piano. No more worries that hard wooden speaker box will scratch the very shiny, delicate finish. It's really thin and easy to cut so I can get any size or shape I may need and the roll is long enough to last indefinitely. The adhesive is quite strong and seems like it would stick to just about any material. Nice find.
