Just what I needed for my pullout trash can drawer in the kitchen

You wouldn't think it should be so complicated to find a waste basket that takes standard size "tall" garbage bags, yet is short enough to fit in a cabinet under the kitchen sink. Yet the only ones I can find in local stores are either much smaller than what I want, or too big. This one is just right.

We keep our garbage pail and recycling pails under our kitchen sink. I don’t want a lid and because of the disposal and cleaning bottles, can’t have a huge pail. For 15 years we’ve had one that was just a little too big and the other was too short but we muddled though. Finally the recycling one was just too cracked to keep using so I bought a pair of these and simply put a piece of white duct tape on each labeled “recycling” and “garbage”. It seems unimportant but I like finally having matching pails that are the right height that can each hold enough so we only have to empty the kitchen garbage once a week. One less headache in my life, yay me.

We have been hunting like crazy for trash bins to fit in our sliding cabinet since we moved in 2 years ago. Previous owners took the trash cans. After multiple trips to the hardware stores we finally gave up. Glad I found these as they are a perfect fit and so much sturdier than what we had before.

I have used this item for many years. Liners are available.NOTE: Amazon forgot to tape the bottom of the box. It was completely open. However, it somehow beat the odds and made it to my house without falling out.
