Black Camaro 14 Inch Neon Clock

Bought this for a gift to give to a family member for Christmas and it is a beauty! He is going to love this for his garage/work area and is the perfect match for his black camaro in real life.. quality construction and looks expensive (got a great sale on this). The blue and white neon lights really shine! Looking forward to gifting this!

The neon quit working 5 weeks in.. the clock still works but who really cares about that!? Such a disappointment! Of course, past window to return!

The Good: I really like the look of this Camaro clock. The white and blue neon lights are very bight, and the clock really lights up my garage at night (I actually have 2 different neon Camaro clocks). The pull chain to turn this clock on and off is really handy, as apposed to the switch on the back of my other neon Camaro clock. This clock has two light settings in the on positions. Pull the chain once, and the blue neon light flashes on and off. Pull the chain again, and the blue neon light is steady. The white neon light is always steady. Overall, this is a really nice looking neon Camaro clock.The Bad: Who puts black clock hands on a black clock face? This makes it really hard to tell the time at any distance from the clock of more than about 6 feet. Also, quality control is terrible on this clock. When I received the clock, I noticed that the clock face had gaps around the edges, and the blue neon light tube was very loose. I removed the 5 screws on the back of the clock and removed the back cover to see what was wrong. Two of the plastic stand-offs that hold the clock face in place were broken off, and the screws were just hanging there in place. I hot-glued the stand-offs to the clock face, and to the body of the clock, problem solved. Also, the blue neon light tube is held in place with plastic retainers that are threaded on the end that is inside the clock. Two of the metal nuts had nearly come completely off of the plastic threads causing the blue neon light tube to come loose. I re-tightened the nuts to secure the blue neon light tube, problem solved. The last issue I have is that the clock movement is deeply recessed into the back of the clock. This makes it a royal pain to change the battery or set the time. This clock movement installation was not thought through very well at all.To tell the truth, I probably should have just returned this clock as "defective," but I really like the look of the clock, and I also like repairing things. The clock works fine for now, but these novelty clock manufacturers usually use really low-quality clock movements, so who knows how long the clock will actually keep accurate time. I would have easily given this clock 5 stars based on the "cool factor" alone. However, there was just too many broken and loose parts, and this clock does have some practicality issues with the black hand color, and the deep mounting depth of the clock movement, that I previously mentioned. If someone wants to take the chance that they actually get a correctly built clock based on the cool looks alone, I say buy this clock (Amazon does have a great return policy). However, based on my personal experience, I would say to look elsewhere for a clock built with better quality control. As they say, "Caveat Emptor!"

What can I say that I am a Camaro owner so therefore I am gonna love this clock. Love that it lights up two different ways. Inside and outside. Thank you so much!

My fiance LOVED this clock! The neon blue around the face is bright and really compliments the picture itself. It helps he has a Black Camaro exactly like the one pictured in the garage. ;) Such a great gift idea!!!

The first clock the center light had fell down and wasn't working, so replaced and returned. The replacement all of the screws were loose that holds the outside neon light on, I took it apart and tightened couldn't reorder due to time for Christmas. Company needs better quality assurance.
