This is really nice and well built and great price much cheaper than others. Plus I like to support Petco because they gifted our community on Maui one year free spay and neuter at the Humane Society which is a huge deal since the average spay and neuter through a vet is $500.00 here and people opt not to do it compounding the problem we have. They are are a really great company. My kids love it. It's big. Can fit my tubby 17 pounder easily.

I am Absolutely Amazed at the Excellent quality of this cat scratcher. My 2 cats are Very Pleased as well. This item easily holds both my cats at once. Very sturdy. Both cats got on it and started scratching away. I swear they were smiling. I Give this item a A+

Wow!!! How impressive!So I wasn't sure what to expect because my only other experience with scratchers like this were kind of cheap ones and my cat would just attack it, leaving a cardboard hell mess in my living room and under my couch, it was a total disaster... so I threw it out. Then she started retaliating and attacking my box spring and couch, laptop bag, shoes etc. I wasn't sure where to find a decent one that would be decently priced and most importantly will it make the same mess?! (Are they all like that?!)....I just got mine and seriously, wow! The quality on this thing looks amazing, it's pretty heavy too so I know she won't be sliding it around the house. It's huge, so she'll have plenty of space.... (just got it, haven't introduced it to her just yet, hopefully she likes it!).Great price, honestly for the quality you get with this scratcher. I know that she'll shred it soon enough but I don't think it'll be like the other cheap one I had because the quality on this one is very very good. I'll be sure to update!

I’ve owned a couple of these because honestly they are worth the higher price because they’ll last a long time. We have three cats that all take turns on it.The quality of this one is the best I have seen. It’s extremely well made and significantly higher duty than previously owned ones.

I already owned the Petfusion brand one that is just like this and when I pulled this out of the box, I compared the two of them. The only difference that I noticed was that this one is lighter weight (which I appreciate because the other one is pretty heavy when trying to move it). This one did have a bit of an odd smell at first, but my oldest cat took to it right away and if it was a "bad" odor, she would have steered clear. My youngest cat took to it as well. The other two haven't tried it out yet since my oldest cat has been using it pretty much non stop since I put it out. Very happy with this purchase!

First, for many years I’ve been a loyal consumer of the original version of this lounger that’s made by a competitir brand (Pet Fusion). I’ve looked at similar items from other vendors online, and have never found anything that’s the same size or quality. About a month ago I found this Petlo lounger. After reading the reviews and comparing the measurements to the competitor brand sitting in my living room, I decided to give it a shot. Let me just say, other than a minor design difference in the center of the lounger, I can’t tell the difference. Both of my cats love to lounge on top of this thing, immediately started scrathing every surface of it, and chase each other through it! Recently, I adopted a larger cat. When I temporarily placed the new Petlo model on top of the older competitor model that I was ready to dispose of only because it had been shredded to within an inch of it’s usable life, I discovered that Goliath (he really IS a large cat) loves to take running leaps on top of them both. So, look at my goofy kitty on top of the two loungers and you can compare them in size, side by side. After a month, of use and near as I can tell, it’s wearing exactly as expected. Occasionally I would cut the competitor model in half to give a little extra life to the scratching function. Because the Petlo lounger is connected in the center, it might not be as easy to cut in half to extend the life of the item, but given the lower cost, I think I’m okay with this. I’m all about supporting vendors that come up with creative products that my cats adore, but the price difference is compelling, and this really is a great product. I’m a fan, and more importantly, my cats are fans!

 My husband bought this for our very large kittens, and I was skeptical. To me, it looked more like a lounger for older cats, and not a toy for kittens. Well, don't tell my husband I admitted this...but I was wrong. They run through it, sharpen their claws on it, play with each other by grabbing tails through the gaps, and of course they also lounge on it. I'm including a video of them playing with it on its side to illustrate a different way to use it, making it more of a toy, and less of a lounger. They are really abusing this thing. We've had it for a few months, and it's just starting to show some wear from their claws, I assumed it would've been destroyed by now, so I'm pleasantly surprised. If you're considering this item for your cats, but you don't think they'll be interested, I recommend giving it a try because our cats love it.

Have had this a few weeks now, and my cats absolutely love it! It was barely out of the plastic when my cats jumped right into scratching on it. The curved design is inviting and they've both lounged and curled up sleeping on it. Mine are grown 10+ pounds adult cats but still have plenty of room when one is laying on it. They scratch on this many times a day, pretty much whenever they walk by, and it's hardly shed much cardboard at all; certainly not in the piles that other cheaper models get ripped up into within days. Definitely worth the extra money, and I will be buying a second one so that they stop fighting over who gets to lay on it!
