I was extremely disappointed when this lead arrived as it is very thin and barely strong enough to hold back by 4 year old Labrador. The lead might be ok for small to medium sized dogs but not much else.

I walk my GSD with this, he is in training and the lead is perfect. Looks good, feels comfortable and it is exceptionally well made.Edit 5* to 3*: month 2 and I've noticed the metal lead parts are rusting. I am genuinely surprised by this as dogs generally get walked in most weather, including rain. Cannot find contact details to the seller so not sure what to do other than not buy again :/ it's a shame as it went so well until now.

This is a lovely lead, really well made and looks fab! The only problem we have had is the clip is really small and won't fit on the ring on our collar, not that much of a problem as it will attach to her harness!

Don't bother. Total waste of money. Purchased this for our lab puppy. First time using it and the leather handle Unravelled and left with just a strip of leather. God help if someone had been using this with a full sized dog that pulled.

It is much better than what I was expecting. Resistent, soft and good quality leather. Makes thinghs easier if you are trying to teach a puppy.
