Surprisingly Perfect Fit for Nespresso!
I couldn't be happier with these refillable pods for my Nespresso machine! I was pleasantly surprised that they fit my Nespresso perfectly, and the process of filling them is a breeze. The included scoop makes it easy to measure the right amount of coffee, and the foil stickers seal everything neatly. I appreciate the silicone base that keeps the pods fresh from the bottom. Plus, with 120 pieces included, I'm set for a long time. The clear base adds a nice touch to my countertop, and overall, these pods are a fantastic, eco-friendly, and cost-effective alternative to traditional Nespresso pods. Highly recommended for anyone looking to make their coffee habit a bit greener and more budget-friendly!

Work in off brand coffee maker
These actually work in my off-brand Nespresso coffee maker. The pods look almost identical to the disposable pods, but obviously these are more practical and less wasteful. I make sure to just grind my coffee beans in espresso form, fill up the pod, and it works great. It easy to just rinse the pod out and use the next day, and also nice to just toss in the dishwasher too.

Works great
I was a little unsure if these would actually fit my Nespresso, but they do. If you look in the last picture they are slightly shorter than the disposable pods. I was a bit nervous that closing the pod into the machine would break something (since these are stainless steel) but it was fine and it brewed a good cup of espresso. It turns out all my fears were for nothing!Filling them is pretty easy with the scoop that was included. It is the perfect amount, then you turn it around to tamp it down a bit. I spilled a little, but after I put the foil stickers on it I just held the whole thing over the sink and blew on it to clean it off. I like how the base has silicone to seal the pods from the bottom so they stay fresh. The aluminum foil seals are easy to put on, and it comes with 120 seals. Additional seals seem to be readily available. They came with many little green rings, which seem to be replacement seals for around the rim of the pod. It doesn't seem like something that will need to be replaced often, but we'll see. I've got something like 20 replacement rings! The clear base is really attractive and I don't mind having it on my counter.Overall these work well, are easy to use, and are an attractive way to keep my coffee habit a little greener.

Missed the Mark
As an avid coffee enthusiast, I had high hopes for the RECAPS Reusable Coffee Filter Capsules. With promises of sustainability, convenience, and cost-effectiveness, I eagerly put these refillable coffee pods to the test. However, after extensive use and evaluation, I'm left disappointed with the overall value.First and foremost, let's address the main selling point: sustainability. While the idea of reducing waste generated by single-use coffee pods is admirable, the execution falls short. The stainless steel capsules are advertised as reusable, and it's obvious that the set is made from quality materials, but in reality, they require meticulous cleaning and maintenance to prevent clogging and ensure optimal brewing results. This not only adds an extra chore to the coffee-making routine that is actually more cumbersome than using a drip or press coffee maker, but also raises concerns about hygiene and durability over time. Moreover, the promise of convenience is undermined by the cumbersome process of filling and sealing the capsules. These things are small! The 120 aluminum foil lids provided are intended for sealing the filled capsules, but they prove to be flimsy, prone to tearing, and difficult to handle and place correctly, leading to messy spills and wastage of time and coffee grounds. In terms of performance, the reusable coffee capsules fail to deliver the same quality of brew as their single-use counterparts. Despite experimenting with various grind sizes and brewing methods, I consistently encountered issues with uneven extraction and weak flavor profiles. The design of the capsules, the quality of the roast or grind, or my tamping skills may be to blame - it will take a lot more time and experimentation to figure out.If you are alternating use of these with regular disposable pods, you will inevitably eventually forget to remove one from the hopper and it will accidentally end up in the trash when empty the pod bin. I would have liked that they were made to look more obvious and less like aluminum disposable pods to help prevent this.In conclusion, while the idea of reusable coffee capsules is commendable, the RECAPS Reusable Coffee Filter Capsules ultimately fail to deliver on their promises of sustainability, convenience, and performance. With issues ranging from cumbersome maintenance and sealing processes to subpar brewing results, these capsules fall short of meeting the expectations. As such, I cannot recommend them to anyone else seeking a reliable and efficient coffee solution.

Great Product!
These reusable pods add a whole new world to my espresso machine! I have had a lot of fun experimenting with using all sorts of espresso grinds. The product itself seems to be made well and includes plenty of extra rubber seals and extras like the brush, portioning cup, and acrylic base.Compared to some other similar products, this one seems to be the most wholesome kit; other products don't have six pods, nor do they have all the accessories. Because of this, I feel the value of this product to be increased aswell.Overall, I have had a great experience with this product and feel it is worth 5/5 stars. I highly recommend!

Great for reducing waste and decaf lovers!
This set is so perfect! I love lattes but struggle with my sensitivity to caffeine. I was looking for an option to make decaf espresso in addition to an eco friendly pod option. This answered all of my prayers! Firstly, I absolutely love how this comes with a heavy acrylic stand that makes the process so much easier. The metal pods fit perfectly in each spot with small space below to catch any ground coffee that may fall through the small filter holes. I use one scoop, from the included tool, drop it in the metal pod and press down flat with the other side of the scoop. Then dust off any loose grounds with the included brush. Finally peel off a foil sticker and apply to the top lip. The entire process takes less than a minute! Another great part about this set including multiple pods is the ability to prep ahead of time. Each piece included is great quality, and offers plenty of uses (lots of foil stickers!). The coffee it brews is perfect as well, no issues with anything! These are just so great, I have no complaints at all!

Good job
These are the first reusable pods I have tried and they work really well. Just follow the clear instructions and you should have no problem using them. I like that it allows you to try different coffee and a slightly cheaper price point. You get six good quality all metal pods to fill up and a nice stand to place them when filling them up.The only downside, inherent to all reusable pods, is the time it takes to prepare them and clean up afterwards. The lids in the pack are aluminium that you stick on the pods and are easy to attach. Although you receive 120 lids with the starter pack, you will need to buy more at some stage. As others have said the aluminium lids are about 10p to buy so you need to factor this into any savings. I'm currently using the 120 original ones but to test I tried using normal aluminium foil. It works which is a success but the holes it creates for the water to flow through are not as even when compared to an original nespresso pod. However, it does still give a good coffee. So if you didn't want to purchase the lids you could make do with normal foil.Overall, a good kit and something different to try but not sure I would use them everyday. I will use them when there is a particular coffee I want to try or if I'm out of normal pods.

Great reusable pods
These are really nicely made, well designed and well presented reusable pods. They do have one unavoidable drawback, which I believe is common to all reusable pods. They are slightly shorter that the disposable pods, which are normally pierced at the top in use, which results in a smaller charge of coffee. I did test this as empirically as possible by removing the coffee from a disposable pod and packing it into the resusable pod and I couldn't fit it all in. I've found this means that I either have a slightly smaller cup of coffee or a weaker one. That being said, I really like these pods. The disposable sticker caps might seem like they defeat the object of reusable pods at first, but they mean that the coffee is brewed under pressure for a few seconds before the cover breaks, just like the original pods. This improves the flavour and is quite noticable when using reusable pods that simply have a mesh filter at the bottom. The pods come with a pack of 120 lids so you won't run out quickly. These caps cost about 7 pence each if you by 500 at a time so they're not too expensive. The pods also use a thin gasket around the base and they come with plenty of spares just in case. So far I've made about 20 cups using a single pod and gasket and there's no sign of wear or damage so I can't see that I'll need to buy any more gaskets. If you're after a good resuable pod that will take any coffee you choose, then I can recommend these.Pros:* They worked without any problems in my old Krups Nespresso machine* Good materials and manufacture* The disposable covers means that each cup is brewed in the manner designed by Nespresso* They feel high quality and are very well presented* Come with a good supply of the disposable caps and plenty of spare gaskets* The storage tray looks good and is nice and heavyCons:* They have a slightly smaller volume than disposable pods and therefore make a slightly smaller cup or weaker coffee, but that will be true for all reusable pods as far as I can tell

Nice idea, not sure about longevity
Always considered trying one of these. Good chance to really see if they're up to it.It's a well adorned pack. Instructions and info around recycling so nice to see it's coming from a real place of environmental responsibility. It is a bit fiddly to load. Obvious advantage is you can use your own blend in a machine. The cap sticker is also a bit fiddly and you need to make sure all stray grinds are removed to make sure it sticks properly.Herein lies the problem though. These type of dispensers are prevalent in the market yet. So apart from the replacement cost issue which others have commented on there is the issue that the market may dry up and you wont get stickers in the future. Potentially making the whole kit redundant. All in all though its a nice, well made kit and if you are a committed coffee aficionado and environmentalist you will likely look over the cons.

An affordable way to brew premium coffee at home, but not for those looking for the cheapest option
These reusable pods are great for allowing you to use your own coffee in a Nespresso machine.Having 6 pods is great for being able to make a few days' worth in advance. The coffee in the pods does lose its flavour after a few days, so I don’t make more than I’ll need.I find that it needs to have a least a medium roast coffee because any lighter doesn’t have enough flavour. To get good flavour, I need to fill the reusable pod as much as possible, then pack down the ground coffee. The provided scoop works well for this.It also took me a while to figure out the grind size I needed. At first, the coffee was watery and I did some research which stated that the grind size was likely the issue. After some trial and error, I managed to get it right. The edge of the pods needs to be perfectly cleaned of any coffee before the aluminium lids are installed, otherwise the lid won’t stick. The supplied paintbrush does a great job.The pods are easy to clean out by just rinsing under the tap. The pods are great quality and come with lots of additional sealing rings. The aluminium lids can be bought separately and are about £14 for 100 (£0.14 each).Generic Nespresso compatible pods with coffee can be bought at about £0.25 each.Official Nespresso pods are about £0.39 each.Taking into account the cost of the lids, these reusable pods are not as cheap as it might seem.If you are very specific about the coffee you want to use, can grind coffee yourself and are willing to do some work, this kit works very well and you can get superior coffee from your Nespresso machine to any pods you can buy. But this is not a cheap alternative to third-party coffee pods.

Fiddly and needs a lot of adjustment to properly adjust to personal taste
I'm not really convinced these are going to be worth the effort for most of us.Yes, the big plus is not lining the pockets of a giant company whose coffee is (in my opinion) no where near as nice as buying your own preference beans. And is much more expensive. Plus the undoubted hassle and worry of non-landfill disposal, or having to store loads and loads of slowly mould gathering pods till you have enough to return. So - I have an original model Nespresso machine (obviously) But my preferred method is my own beans, ground fresh daily, and in a Bialetti stovetop. Great coffee, but no crema. And i do like the crema. So in theory this was a solution. But - it is going to take a lot of time and wasted coffee to find the exact and perfect grind and the exact and perfect fill and tamp which will produce my required strength and crema.Filling is quite messy and inevitably some of the grind gets spilt/wasted.So far, I've had crema and very weak coffee. And a lot of cleaning up to do. Then one needs to factor in that there will be lids to be bought going forwards.I also found that positioning these pods needs a bit of more precise jiggle placement to work. And didn't always drop through to the basket. For the time being the always perfect Bialetti though slower than these, still offers a quicker, fail safe experience, as compared to time taken to prep these pods in advance
