Works well Maybe the best of its type.
May be the best of the unheated/unpowered solder suckers. The thing sucks with a big, scary thunk. There is a small o-ring to cushion the thunk but it needs a larger one. I can do that. A little slippery but I can fix that too,Good size to fit the hand, unlike the smaller sucker they make.Comes with 2 spare silicone rubber tubes. This thing is probably made to be armed with just a thumb but that is not easy so I use my other hand.

Nice Build Quality
Bought this solder sucker because my old one was acting up. The build is pretty solid, made of metal instead of plastic like my old one. It's more compact so less storage space on my workstation.I am a bit weary about the tip, though. It's meant to be swapped out, comes with a rubber tube you cut and change. My old one had a tough plastic tip that could take the heat from a soldering iron or heat gun... Not sure how well this will hold up. Only time will tellHad to get a replacement on the first one i got, it showed up with scratches and scuffs. The replacement, though, is great.

If it was only longer
When I bought mine I didn't have the option of the longer model. It definitely works way better than the average solder sucker. It does have to be taken apart and cleaned out quite often or it loses effectiveness, but that means its quite effective and it is. A pro tip is when you clean it out put some vasoline on the o rings to help it slide and seal better. I also will stretch the spring out a bit which makes it hard to reassemble but it sucks really nice. I only give it 4/5 because the body is so short and my hands are big so I constantly hit the release button on accident constantly so definitely get the option with the blue plunger because it is considerably longer from the description

Hubby likes it
My hubby was needing a new one of these sucker things. I went looking and found this. He likes it and said it will work perfectly.I known nothing besides what he says, so this is a good item.

Why Didn't I Get This Sooner
I do quite a bit of soldering for hobby, and there are times where I make mistakes and either add to much solder, or in the wrong spot. Most of my soldering is for joining stranded wires together. I use leaded solder (63-37 variety with a rosin core). Where I struggle is soldering vertical joints due to the solder dripping down during the process. In the past, I'd just leave a big blob of solder and heat shrink over the top to cover up the mess. However, I found this solder sucker that solves this issue (I should work on my technique, but in the meantime, this works). As long as the solder is hot, position the tool over the problem area, push the button, and the tool sucks up excess solder from the joint, leaving a clean looking solder joint.I presume this was meant for circuit boards and desoldering components, but it works for standard wire connections as long as you don't intend to separate the wires (just remove excess solder). Overall, I'd highly recommend for the odd instance you'll need it.

Problem with material / design...
The suction power is good. I like the size. However, the solder metal sticks to the "main pin", and I have to disassemble it after 3–5 operations. Sometimes the solder is pushed out OK, sometimes it does not come out all the way and I have to pull it manually. But it is worse when the metal sticks to the pin - you cannot push it through and have to unscrew the front part and remove the metal from the pin. Also, after 20–30 uses you have to completely disassemble it, and clean the soldering metal from the piston.

Amazing tool
I didn't expect such a cheap soldering iron tool to have so many accessories. It's really incredible. After receiving it, there is a storage bag. It's really great. It's also very convenient to use and easy to carry. It's recommended to buy!
