These are cute and I purchased for fun. No kids here and they work fine and look great sitting on the bathroom shelf. When we brush we just flip over, there a good way to make sure your brushing long enough..

We bought this for our two boys to time their toothbrushing and it was both great for the price and purpose. I did wish the sandglass came in red, instead of pink, Red is our youngest son's favorite color.Otherwise, its a great choice when you are trying to get the right amount of brushing in!

I bought these for my kids and now they enjoy brushing teeth more than ever. Because of these little timers, I never have to ask them to brush teeth, they go set this up and start brushing morning and night because it’s like a toy for them, and what child does not like toys!

As expected, they came quick after two other orders of similar product never showed, we timed them, they work, kids love ‘em!

This timer is anything but consistent- and yes I was bored enough to time it versus a stop watch. Over four trials it varied from1 minute to 1.5 minutes.It is close enough for games but I wouldn't use it for anything that needed precision to less than half a minute.On the plus side the thing seems pretty indestructible. It's sturdy plastic and well attached. The sand does sometimes get stuck which adds to the inconsistencies. But the color of the sand is nice and it matches the plastic top and bottom.
