Helping Hands: A Handbook for Volunteers in Prison

I have volunteered in Texas prisons for several years. This book gave insight into how to be a better volunteer in ways that would not occur to the average volunteer. The insight into offender resistance and manipulation is important information.

Must read for anyone working or volunteering in a prison, jail or detention facility.

A very helpful book, although a little dated. I plan to use it to initiate the new volunteers to our prison ministry.

I made this purchase because I was and currently still am, seeking, advice on how to help our Incarcerated Loved Ones.

This gives good advice with specific illustrations for a volunteer. I'll use it for prison ministry. It's a quick read, too.
