VISM by NcStar Gun Case (38"L X 13"H)/Black (CV2907-38)

WOW, this case exceeded my expectations!! I was looking for a case under $30 that would hold my scoped AR for easy transport, but also providing a level of protection. I read countless reviews of hard cases and even some soft cases that pretty much shot down my idea due to my AR having a scope. The height from the bottom of my pistol grip to the top of my scope is 11.5" and from muzzle tip to the end of my stock is 33" minimum (stock in lowest position). I purchased the 38" black case and my rifle fits with the stock in the lowest and highest position (see pictures). There's even enough room to throw a couple of spare magazines and a few boxes of ammo on the inside, if you wanted to. The 5 outside pockets are plenty large and hold mags and ammo well, even with my rifle in the case.- The outer material is very sturdy and has a thick canvas feel to it.- The inner material is soft felt-like material with a foam cushion between the outer and inner layers providing minor impact protection.- Plenty of head room to fit an AR with both pistol grip (Mil-Spec) and a 3-9x40 CVLife scope attached.- Dual zippers are robust and allow for a thin shackled lock to keep prying eyes and hands out.- The handles are able to be combined into one with material and Velcro attached which aids in comfort when carrying.- The adjustable sling allows an over-the-shoulder carry option and can be removed easily if necessary.- Five storage pockets are secured by a fold-over Velcro flap and are large enough to accommodate 30 round magazines, ammo boxes, tools, or cleaning equipment, even with rifle stored inside main compartment.Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone who has a scoped rifle.

Husband got optics for his 15 and it wouldnt fit the bag anymore. This is perfect and well made and the xtra storage is perfect.

This is a well made case. The interior is soft. I made a point to get a second. It opens up flat for a cushioned shooting mat at the range. My first one suffered a puncture in the fabric and it is still holding up fine. Nice and sturdy material. The handles are nice and not just flat fabric. My only concern is when loaded down the shoulder strap clasps seemed to give a little bit and bend under load. I don't ever use them so it wasn't a deal breaker when it came time for another case. As I said, I made a point to buy a second one of these after enjoying my first so much. I have zero worries putting my stuff in the bed of a truck, these padded cases will keep your expensive personal protective equipment safe. Even the zippers are nice and sturdy and won't scratch up your kit. They are $20 something bucks. Save your money for what matters, your equipment and freedom seeds. I even have a scabbard for a 12ga pellet dispenser by this same brand and it is super sturdy.

Value buy. Soft case, does get dirty easily, but only on the outside. Inside plush and clean. Not a high dollar product , but if you aren't using often. Good product for storage. If you want a great product you'll hafta pay a greater price and if using often. You want a hard case. If you're looking at this though, you're probably not a gun enthusiast. Good for storage and Occasional use. Remember you get what you pay for. It's fine for what it is, just don't expect steak for hot dog prices.

This is the first range bag I have ever owned. I've taken it to the range a couple times now using this bag. It holds my AR-15 with a 16 inch barrel and adjustable stock perfectly. If you have a longer gun you might have issues. Make sure to measure your gun and check against the specs of this bag. At this price I can't possibly complain. The zippers are very nice and don't seem cheap. They have a spot you could easily put a small padlock if you wish to secure the rifle. The 5 magazine slots fit 30 round magazines easily. (I use 2 of the slots for my cleaning supplies. You could probably squeeze a few extra mags inside the rifle area if you want. If you are looking for a bag to carry your rifle to the range with, this is an excellent option. I would definitely purchase it again if I picked up a second rifle.

Surprisingly well made. The exterior is really heavy material in very well sewn. The interior, is just sort of average, nothing special to see there. It is exactly as described. For $24 I paid, was very surprised at how well it was made. Fits my AR perfectly and I expect to get several years out of it no problem just off of first impressions. I would recommend this to somebody else without hesitation. In the pictures, I laid it in there just to show size. With a yard stick. They can easily accommodate a rifle with optics no problem, there is plenty of room for a red dot or halo sight or scope. The magazine pouches on the outside are really heavy material with great stitching and really heavy duty, high-quality Velcro closure. Overall very impressed with this product.

I ordered the 38" length for a 34" 9MM carbine. The fit was perfect with about 1-1/2" left over on each end. Case dimensions are out side so keep that in mind when ordering. The case is made from very heavy material and well padded. It has large double zippers that are well stiched . The case has 5 magazine pockets on the outside with a single flap covering all 5 pockets. My magazines are 9MM single stack and each pocket would hold about 5 of my magazines. That works great for me because the pockets are large enough to hold 9MM ammo boxes or anything else you might want to take to the range. The padding is heavy enough I wouldnt worry about tossing into the back of my truck if I didnt have optics on my gun. I am please with this purchase and think you will be too.
