Wearing no undergarment limits your wearable blouses.I did not realize that there was such a thing as strapless Bandeau bras. Intuitively, since i normally take a 2X in most things, since this comes from China and I have found Chinese imports run super small, I ordered a 4X. I was sure I would have to return it, but when I put it on, it fit like a dream. It was so comfy. The elastic type material it is made from is Barry strong and substantial and envelopes the torso with great strength yet comfort. It also comes with 2 sets of removable straps, both clear and also in the color of the garment itself. I do not anticipate ever using either set of straps since this item holds itself in place with no sagging, no slipping, and best of all, ABSOLUTELY NO UNEVEN PRESSURE NOR CUTTING. SOMEHOW, THIS THING DISTRIBUTES EVEN PRESSURE ON THE ENTIRE TORSO SO THAT YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW YOU’RE WEARING IT BY IT. Buy One in size considerably larger than you really take in US sizes, try it on, and then, if you selected the right size, order yourself some more colors. The key is getting the right size. Once you do that you will be Amazed at the comfort.

I bought the Shapermint Convertible Strapless Bra because it had the option to be a bandeau style bra. The strap option is a bonus that I’m not sure I’ll ever use, it’s still nice to have the choice. One of the big draws for Shapermint is that they offer a huge variety of sizes that a lot of other bra makers and shapewear companies do not. I own a couple of their products and love them.I have neck, shoulder, and back issues; after years of wearing a bra, the straps have started to cause an issue, they pinch the nerves in my shoulders, and it causes pain right down to my fingertips. I can’t put into words how much I genuinely despise having to wear a bra, having large breasts, I can’t really get away with walking around without one even if I had a tank top or cami under my clothing.For years I have been shopping around for a strapless and have been disappointed consistently. When I saw the original band style bras, I was cautiously optimistic but that didn’t yield any better results until recently.The material is very good quality, it doesn’t feel like thick gauze you see with many of these. It fits true to size; I was worried about this because I’m right at the edge of needing to go up a size. I got some advice here from other shoppers and sure enough, perfect fit. I bought the beige which is, well beige. I wanted to be able to wear it with anything, so it does work well for that. The built in cups, I was actually shocked, shocked! that they fit correctly, normally I cut them out because they’re terrible, but these are fantastic. The silicone grips really keep it from sliding, another pleasant shock. There is also no issues with fat bulges, it's completely smooth along your body as long as it fits correctly.I had the opportunity to put this bra to the test immediately. I was woken up for a doggy emergency and literally rolled out of bed and rushed to the vet’s office. I threw on the Shapermint bra since it was the first one I could find and we had zero time to waste. My dog is about 80lbs; there was a lot of running involved, wrestling her into the car, etc. First, my dog is perfectly healthy, second, this bra didn’t slip once and no popping out.Issues with this bra; if I have to nitpick it’s not the most supportive bra and in certain shirts can cause a unibreast situation. The price kept me from ordering it for a long time. The big issue I had, and I don’t think this is indicative of the overall quality of their products, is some stitch issues and it sort of frayed where the hook loops are. I could have lived with that, unfortunately some stitching above the cups started coming out completely. Hopefully since it’s been under 30 days I can exchange it.Updates:None of this would be worth it if this bra wasn't truly, very good. I might want to be buried in it.Problems I've run into: receiving Truekind instead of Shapermint. Shapermint owns both companies and they are very similar but I think Shapermint fits and feels better. Since fulfillment is being done through Amazon, I'm not entirely sure what or where the issue is. I received a Truekind instead of a Shapermint both when exchanging my first purchase and making a second and separate order.Shapermint's customer service has been great and are sending me a replacement (actual Shapermint) and I cannot be happier with their service which is why I bumped this up to a 4 over a 3. Customer service to me has as much to do with product satisfaction as the product itself.I would urge anyone who orders this bra and is dissatisfied to double check the brand you received. Having a Shapermint makes a huge difference to me starting with size. The Truekind bras are at least an inch smaller than the Shapermint despite both being an XL.

I have a larger chest, a 38G usually in most brands. I steer clear of strapless or anything without structured support because they always fall down and i have a serious sensory issue if the girls arent being held in place correctly. But I felt the need to branch out and try because this summer I wanted to wear cute dresses and tops that show shoulder without straps being in the way. This bra is AMAZING. Absolutely amazing! I didn't have high hopes but was pleasantly blown away and pleased by the support, durability, and fit of this bra!! The clear straps were a plus as well because I can wear them when I only have a chance of seeing strap. But the fact I can wear a strapless bra for once and have them stay comfortably in place is a life changer. At 31 years old to finally have this means the world and I am planning on buying so many of these so I'm never waiting on any of them in the laundry 😊😊

This bra is comfortable but the sticky band at the top is so small that it doesn't really work. The width of the bandeau bra is large enough that it stays up well enough. I'll have to see how it stays up after a few hours of wear..

Every woman has tried a bazillion strapless bras right? So when I got this I thought meh it’s gonna be like the others. This one is not! No tight silicone band pinching your skin, no slipping, no uniboob. I just love it! I wore it tonight for 6 hours and just got home, I’m not racing to take it off. For me that’s a big deal. My girls look good, it’s comfy and really all I can ask for in a bra. I’ll order a few more colors for sure. For stays I’m a 38D and an XL is lovely.

Love everything about this bandaue bra. Hold everything in place. I've the added side breast that is controlled. Nothing to complain about it. It's soft, comfortable & holds everything in place.

Like most of the reviewers, I have never met a strapless I liked. So what’s to lose? However, this is not as advertised. First of all, I went by the size chart exactly and fell right in the middle of the range. But it was HUGE. I read some reviews suggesting the AMZN size chart of different than the website chart, but I fell in the same range in both. And I am likely 2 sizes down from what I ordered. Second, there is zero boning. No soft boning, no regular boning, none. It’s simply a bandeau with circular pads sewn in. No “hold” or “lift” or “shape” to speak of. Third, the fabric is tragically cheap feeling. I was expecting something smooth with a strong stretch — like Skims or 3rd Love. But instead the fabric is scratchy and easily stretched out. For a few bucks more I can get an actual Skims bralette. Add some pads or nip covers and you’re far better off than with this cheap attempt. Immediate return.
