Very effective, but strange to receive two right handed gloves
Got to be honest, I assumed this would be a left and right pair - it's not, it's two right handed gloves. Seems dumb - given that an actual pair would make more sense, but whatever. The actual glove is a sort of mesh and nylon, stubby-fingered mitt with a semi rigid rubbery plastic/ silicone shield, that does flex quite well with your hand movement, but feels a little weird to get used to.The shield bit has a series of "teeth" covering it that look a bit intimidating but are actually quite blunt and, when I used it on my arm (I wanted to make sure it wasn't sharp or painful first) feels quite nice. And apparently, Mr. Cat also found it quite nice, because although on first contact he seemed appropriately weirded out for a few seconds, after giving it a good sniff, visual inspection and gnaw - he was a vibrating, purring, prancing tart while I groomed him with it. He seemed to be thrilled with his grooming massage- definitely more so than he ever was with his brush; and the gloves were far more effective. The image shows the amount of hair collection on the brush vs the amount the glove picked up. Both are from an all over groom, the brush I did yesterday, the glove today. It's mental. After around 3-5 minutes brushing, I was genuinely surprised by the amount of fur the glove removed (again, see photo - that's ONE session worth!). I bought this item basically because Cat is shedding his seasonal fluff, and despite daily brushing with his slicker, a few days ago he threw up an enormous (and I mean horrifyingly large) hairball - so clearly I wasn't doing a good enough job helping the hair collection. Enter the glove; basically you just stoke the cat with it, no need for hard pressure or strange technique. And yes, the weird sheet of fur thing is actually true - it does collect in a sort of mat, and indeed peels off like felt. However, it doesn't come away completely cleanly, and errant fluff ends up between the fingers and unfortunately on the cat - but it's manageable. So yes, in general, effective at hair removal, cat loved the experience and I was honestly surprised both by how quickly the cat took to it and how much hair it removed. The only reason it's not 5 star for me is that a pair would make far more sense - as it stands I just have a spare glove I don't think I'll ever need, which kind of feels like a waste of materials. Also I have sort of medium sized hands - and the stubby glove is to me borderline uncomfortable - so if you have large hands may be difficult to wear.

My cat has no complaints!
They are quite large so I thought my cat might freak out as the gloves got close to him, but he was fine. Very good at collecting the malting fur & it seems to collect more fur than his normal brush. He enjoys being brushed with the gloves, so a thumbs up from us!

It works alright
I have one of them shear -scrapy things to remove dog hair and it works brilliant but my dog lets me do this for a minute or two and then runs off into the garden. So as I couldn`t find the carpet under the hairs anymore and was walking around with rather hairy leggings, I bought these glove things. She likes them much better and most of the hair stays on them rather than swirling into the air. A few good strokes and the glove is full of hair, reminding me a bit of felt. Shame, her coat isn`t snuggly soft and longer or I would do the crazy dog hair spinning for jumpers thing. The cat`s turn next, when he lets me near him.

Easier than a brush
Feels a bit cheap but is pretty effective and the cat does enjoy the feeling of it! He won’t sit still long enough to be brushed but will let us use these gloves without complaining... that got to be a win!

They do what I wanted!
I bought these to remove the excess hair from my cat. They work quite well although because they're bulky, I need to be careful not to scare him with them.

Brilliant pet grooming
My cat hates normal brushes and have tried various mitts in the past without any success. A friend recommended these and they are a game changer. She will happily sit and get brushed every day. They are super easy to clean. Also great for getting hair out carpets or upholstery.

Good concept but didn't work on my cats
I think my cats must be much hairier than other reviewers as mine had hair flying all about not sticking to the gloves. Difficult to take the hair off as well when its inbetwen the grooves. Only holds like 2cm of hair in the grooves before it starts to overflow to the sides and then all over you. Brushes do a better job of keeping the hair trapped.
