Received this charger as my laptop's previous charger gave up the ghost after 4 years of service. I found that this one matched the specification of my previous charger (180V, 'Chicony' brand, etc.)When it arrived, I noticed that the brand was not 'Chicony', despite its mention in the product name and the lack of pictures of the label to say otherwise.The first time I attempted to use this, within an hour or so of regular laptop usage, I thought I smelt something weird.After worriedly checking my laptop's fans, I tracked the smell down to the power pak of the charger itself.A very strong smell of burning plastic could be found coming from the charger itself, which is indicative of issues with this charger.I have submitted a refund request to Amazon for this and am glad I purchased the extra warranty option to cover my bases. A complete waste of almost £50 and now I have to spend more of my time trying to return this item.Avoid this at all costs
