Nice cutting board and especially like that it’s got silicone grips on the side and an ergonomic handle.

I am an avid cook and recently decided to switch from dishwashable plastic chopping boards to more environmentally friendly wooden. I tried a few and this one is by far the best. Do not be put off by a comment that they scratch - they should scratch, that’s normal, and it is a good indication that the board is friendly to your knifes. I have very expensive Japanese knives and this board works great with them. Highly recommend!!

This is one beautiful board. The color is deep, rich, and warm, the grain is fine, and the handle and feet are of good quality. I didn't know anything about sapele wood before this. I gather it's in the mahogany family and it shows. It's absolutely gorgeous. So gorgeous I don't want to use it as a cutting board. Truly, I can't bring myself to take a knife to it.I requested it because the idea of a good, solid, thick, one-piece cutting board appeals to me to replace the handful of warping, splitting bamboo ones that I've had forever but now that I have it, I just can't. I'm sure it would be an outstanding cutting board-thick and easy to clean and since it's all one piece it will last forever but nope, it's just too pretty.So, it will live on my dining room table as a base for a vase or my crystal biscuit jar and I'll use it to (carefully) serve cheeses and pre-sliced Charcuterie on special occasions.I'm very happy to have this stunning don't-you-dare-cut-anything-on-this board. Maybe you'll be made of tougher stuff than I am and get years of durability out of it.For my part, I have a lovely board for serving tasty nibbles and I'll find something else to cut veggies on.

Positive: it's cheap, one piece block and heavy in a good way, but it has warped after just a month since we received it.Negative: Warping. Now it wobbles annoyingly when used for chopping!

Wow, I am very impressed by this cutting board! As you can see in my pictures it is a very thick high-quality piece of wood. I was surprised and impressed by the handle at the top, which is made out of metal. I like that it comes with two rubber feet on the bottom, but would have preferred that these rubber feet were on the flat side of the board to allow for grip on the countertop. That would be my one suggestion on improving this board. Otherwise, I am looking forward to using this as my go to cutting board. It is by far superior to my other plastic and silicone cutting boards that I’m used to using. plus just a looking field of this board is 10 times nicer. I highly recommend this cutting board!
