To give you some background, I have long, wavy hair, and it takes forever to dry. I prefer to take my showers at night, but going to bed with wet hair sucks. I don't do much in terms of actually styling my hair, I just let it dry and throw it up in a ponytail most of the time. Chronic pain and fatigue mean that holding a blowdryer gets very unpleasant while my hair stays damp, so I decided to give this soft hood thing a try.To begin with, I was not sure whether the hose part of this product would attach onto my blowdryer and stay attached, and I couldn't get it to stretch around the fat barrel of my Laifen blowdryer. However, the flat blade attachment fits into the hose and holds it, so that's one obstacle out of the way. Lots of blowdryers have the same basic form factor, so you might have to also get creative to connect your pieces together. I do find that I lose some air pressure this way, but I don't know that it's enough to make much difference.The elastic band that holds the hood in place on my head tightens and keeps everything in place really well, even allowing me to move around without dislodging.It dries around my scalp really well, and the outer layer of the length of my hair. I find that the part of my hair that's blocked by the rest of my hair stays pretty damp, which is to be expected, since there is no way to section it out with the hood. I think that's acceptable though, so I can go to sleep with hair that isn't fully sopping.

What I love about this product, is that there is no direct heat hitting my hair and so there is less damage. I have really long hair and so when I use this product I don't have to worry about my hair not drying evenly because its so long, it dries all together, what I also love about this product, is that I don't have to continue to pass the bush to dry it, it air dries and it doesn't stay frizzy, all without the worry of hair breakage due to the comb, or direct heat, I purchase less products because I do not need to use a heat protector because I am not applying direct heat to my har, so I save my money and save my hair at the same time. And if you have a portable blower, you can take the dryer cap with you wherever you go with out worry, it is light weight and also easy to carry. Great gift idea for hair lovers, stylists and anyone who doesn't want to use direct heat on their locks.

I have long curly hair that takes quite some time to get dry using a blow dryer. I get tired of holding the blow dryer so I thought I would give this a try. I deducted 1 star because the instructions are not very clear.It takes some practice to be able to get all your hair into the bonnet. I’ve accomplished this by bending over getting all my hair inside and then tightening the elastic. Sometimes when standing back up some hair still escapes.I use this to get my hair semi dry and then I take it off. This way since my hair is still a little damp I am able to set a style and then blow dry the rest of the way.The hose part of the bonnet was not big enough to go over my shark blow dryer so I put on the nozzle and it fit just fine.I like the bonnet and will do Tito use it as it does speed up the drying time.

I can freely do my makeup as my hair dries in this. I got this so that I could get as much done in a shorter amount of time in the mornings before work. Since I wash my hair everyday, it can become tedious to have to do makeup, dry my hair, then style it. With this I can do two things at once. This really does dry my hair pretty much fully in the time span of me doing my makeup.

I ordered the purple version of the Boloye Hair Dryer Bonnet, and I can't help but feel like a purple dragon with a long tail when I use this. Haha! It amuses me. But it works! I mostly got this for deep conditioning treatments, but also works with a plopper net to help dry my hair. It takes a long while to dry hair all the way with this. Better to dry hair partially to set curls, take this and the plopper cap off, and finish the drying/styling with a diffuser.Great for home or on the go. I have the hard shell counter top hair dryer as well, but this takes up so much less space. I can sit at my vanity with this bonnet version. I can also be a little bit more mobile and do facials, massage, makeup, etc. It is harder with the other one. The end of it is lined with silicone to help it stay on my hair dryer. There is a lot of adjustment with this bonnet to fit heads of all sizes.One other use, if I feel cold and can't get warm, I can throw this on for a few minutes and it warms up my head and feels quite good.

Concept is great. However, I think this will work best on short hair. I have hair past my hips and after 30 mins it was still pretty wet. If I had more time it might have worked better but it should have still dried my hair more than it did.

I ordered the Boloye Hair Drying Bonnet to cut time off from getting ready in the morning.The bonnet is a little awkward to get on. I'm sure that'll improve with practice. I have hair that is mid-chest length, and I found my hair to fit well in the bonnet.The hose fit well over my hair dryer. I was concerned the bonnet material might melt with the high heat of my dryer nozzle, but it did not.Once you get everything set up and going, this frees up your hands to do other things - like make-up. I tried this on after a shower and after towel-drying my hair. Unfortunately for me, after 20 minutes, my hair was not fully dried.This bonnet would be great to get your hair mostly dried while doing your make-up. Then, you can remove the bonnet, dry the remainder by hand, and style it appropriately.That will be my plan for this bonnet as it seems to take longer to dry with the bonnet than if I did without it (for my hair, I can get a total dry by hand in 10 minutes).
