This is my first rise and fall chair I’ve owned with the extra function of lumbar and headrest adjustment, it makes this chair so easy to get comfortable and supported. Well worth the extra costAnd the customer support is also very good always a sign of a well run company.

Bought for my dad after a stroke left him partially paralysed on left side. So comfortable and easy to use. So easy to get him in and out of it - better than from his wheelchair! He loves it. The remote control is so simple to use too. Easy to wipe clean fabric. Has battery backup in case of power cut too.

We bought this chair for my 79-year-old relative when she was struggling to get in and out of a chair with painful wrists, knees and a bad back. She said she could not describe what a difference the chair has made - the lumbar support makes her feel like the chair gives her 'a very gentle hug' and her back has significantly improved. As a tall person, the chair is high enough for her to be able to get up and down comfortably and is just the right height.What's more, her family have peace of mind that she will never be stuck in the chair, due to the very smooth and effective riser function. I don’t understand why this has a Which recommendation! My mother sat in it for one hour her leg went dead. She says it is so uncomfortable and could not use it for long periods which is no use as she is 92. In fairness the firm supplying it were very helpful when we said we wanted to return and get refund Though the delivery firm they used were not at all reliable so took several attempts to get them to come and pick it up
