Garden Winds Replacement Canopy Top Cover for The Windsor Dome Gazebo - RipLock 500 - Will NOT FIT Any Other Gazebo - Check Model Number, Assembly Instructions, and Horizontal Frame Design

This was so tight, there was no way we could get it on. But we sawed about two inches off each of the eight ends of the metal dome frame. Now it fits.

Canopy did not fit. Do not know why the company can not sell the same style and fit for the replacement.

This canopy was replacement for original Big Lot'sWindsor Canopy and is ok so far as installed just before summer started.The tan/beige color doesnt match 100% but doesnt look bad either....... the fit is not exact on the measurementsand was shorter, so I also had no choice but to saw off a couple inches off the ends of the metal dome frame with my reciprocating saw, which was no big deal, and after an hour or so..... Voila ! Done !Looks great and we like the rip stop material & since its lighter in thickness than the original, it lets more light in ......Overall, we like it & hope the quality holds up for a number of years & the pricing was the best bang for our buck !When I purchased this canaopy, I ordered an additional one as I didnt want to go thru the process of searching, pricing & comparing again,& mabe they discontinue this model !👍😇

This is the 2nd cover I have had to buy for my gazebo. The 1st was also from Garden Winds and though it was very tight to put on it fit. This one would not fit period. I had to cut an inch off of all the supports to get it to fit.

Seemed okay the 1st year-one "pocket" ripped trying to get it on.(I did leave it out in the sun to warmup and partially on to stretch but 1 pocket still ripped). No big deal, I added a piece of duct tape to keep the rip from spreading.Problem was I put it away in the fall and when I took it out to put back on this May other pockets ripped and the rips spread up the canopy immediately. So the fabric was already disintegrating. They also need double fabric around the "pocket" areas where is fits over the gazebo ends.

Seems very durable and water resistance. Installation however was something else. It was too resistant to fit and we struggled a long time. Finally, instead of returning we sawed off all the ends 1 inch like I read someone else did in the replies. Two rubber ends broke off when pulling them out so my spouse made two wood ones to compensate. The reason we bought this “best” canopy was because the original one ripped so easily putting on and taking off. Paying someone to mend it would have been too costly and it would have probably ripped again. We Love our gazebo! I don’t know if these stronger canopies are really made to fit the Windsor model gazebo. I wonder if the “better” canopy would have gone on any easier.

Have not ordered this one before. Lasts 3 years for us the original one.BUT this time had to cut off the end of one of the poles about 1 1/2 inches to get the tarp end to fit. It’s always some struggle to get on but this was really bad. Doesn’t look bad but it’s the idea that we had to do it. The other tarp replacement to the other gazebo has always been right on. Same company. We are on the 3rd one of that. We get 5and 6 years. It does pay to go a grade up. At least 2 more years for us. Instead of 3 years, get 6 years.

The canopy material is not as heavy as the original canopy, and I ordered the heavier 550 fabric canopy.There are a number of reviews that talk about it being too small. It actually measures 10 x 12, but it's the hardest to install I've ever seen. We struggled for hours to get this on the frame (yes, we ordered the correct canopy replacement model number for the frame). We were finally able to get all but one corner firmly seated and all but one center installed. The fabric will stretch, but it' s a nightmare if you don't have extra wide vise grips and a lot of arm strength to pull it.
