Solid choice for a quality wool base layer. If you have a longer torso, get the mens version
I like to put wool gear to the test, wearing it for a week straight (washing if need be, at night, and letting it air dry overnight). I'm impressed at week one of wearing top and bottom under clothes. I've been warm, not hot, and although these fit closely, they are not snug. It's felt a bit like having my skin lightly massaged all day. Elbows (and knees in the matching bottoms) do show some stretching with multiple wears. I have both hand washed and machine washed on gentle cycle, tumble dry extra low. I think there will be some pilling in the future, but all in all, this feels like a solid base layer choice for multiple climates.I'm 5'2, 127lbs, medium boned with an athletic build. My husband is 5'8, 135lbs, small boned with an athletic build. The small women's fit me perfectly. The sleeves would come down a bit over my hands except for the weird cord like cuff- it would be exactly perfect with thumb holes. The shirt is close, not tight, and comes down to about mid hip, which is perfect for tucking in. The small men's fit me nearly perfectly - it was a little bit bigger, but not much, the main difference was that the mens version had a longer torso, which comes down over my bum.The mens small was a bit too tight on my husband and the sleeves were too short. The mens version also has soft, full cuffs. The women's version has almost like a cord around the end of the sleeves. Not a deal breaker, but I do find it irritating. Zoom in on the listing pics to see cuffs.Pros:Good qualityDoesn't hold smellsTemperature regulatingVery soft - I've got super sensitive skin and this doesn't itch. The price is excellentConsIf you are tall, I'd suggest going for the mens version. This is perfect on someone short, like me.No thumb holes - I might even take it to a tailor to have thumb holes put in, as the cord makes it a bit uncomfortable to pull down over my hands. The cord like ending to the sleeves is annoying, I considered taking a star off for it, but the price and quality overall are so good that it didn't seem quite fair - more of a 1/2 star.I love that they sent a free pair of merino socks with each order (I ordered multiples for my husband and myself). The socks were much too big for me, but my husband was happy to restock his merino sock collection for free. (I'm a 6.5 - 7 shoe size, they were more appropriate for my husband's 10.5 shoe size)If I could give half stars, this would be 4.5 stars. It's a solid choice for someone transitioning to wool base layers. Honestly, the quality feels better than a lot of Smart Wool layers I've had, and it's softer.

The Merino.tech Merino Wool Base Layer for Women is fantastic!
These 100% merino wool midweight layers provide the perfect combination of warmth, comfort, and breathability. I’ve worn them for outdoor activities in cold weather, and they keep me warm without overheating. The material is soft and not itchy at all, which is a big plus for merino wool. They’re also great at wicking moisture and don’t hold onto odors, making them ideal for extended wear. The fit is flattering and comfortable, making them a go-to for both active use and casual wear. Highly recommended for anyone needing a high-quality, midweight base layer!

Love it!
I absolutely love this shirt! I recently took it on a week trip to Amsterdam and wore it almost every day with a down vest. There was never any odor and it is so comfy and warm. I also wear it in AZ in the winter and don’t get too hot. I just love wool! It washes nice and doesn’t shrink. I put it in the dryer on low heat for a short while after letting it air dry over night. It is very good quality and not over priced. I love the midweight. I have several tops of this brand.

Nice Shirts
I purchased grey, olive, and natural in XL. They all fit differently with the olive being very very generous in sizing compared to the natural which was a tiny bit smaller. I don't care for the hit and miss of sizing. The shoulder seam falls lower than the shoulder so this is made for a broad shouldered female. Neckline was great not too low, sleeves feel past my fingers so great for long armed females (not me) but they can easily be rolled up. The length of the shirts are perfection-not too short. Material thickness was great and they were soft not itchy. The olive color was super saturated and gorgeous, the natural was a nice cream color even though you can see through it. Oh and thank you for the very nice wool socks that are perfect for a viking female foot-which I'm not. I'll have to give them to my son. Perhaps ask us what size we'd like on the socks as I could have really used them.

Sweater is very cozy, soft
Soft, not itchy (which can be an issue for me). Was very happy when Iopened the package and felt the material. Love the fit! Really nice weight! The quality of the socks is excellent as well but they are a large size. More like a men's size than standard women's. Will be ok for around the house but would likely cause discomfort when hiking due to bunching. As they were a bonus, I am happy with them, just really wish I could wear them hiking as they are a good midweight, soft hiking sock!!!

Soft & warm
This shirt fits perfectly. It is the second one I have purchased because I loved the first one so much. Both have already been washed in cold water. Simply hang them to air dry. These are my go-to exercise shirts in the winter. I love to bike in colder weather, and they are my favorite underlayer.

Lightweight but very warm
I'll be traveling to colder climates soon and had heard about Merino wool being not only warm but easy for packing. I wasn't a fan of the price tag on most Merino wool but this was a Prime day deal which made it a little more affordable. It is very lightweight, very comfy, and super warm. I did size up but probably didn't need to size up 2 sizes. Right now I'm in between a M/L but ordered an XL. Should've stuck with a Large but I'll keep in case I want to wear a layer underneath. The quality is great too. Highly recommend.

Soft & cute
Just received this and love the fit with soft & movable fabric and the style. Bought it to add to my travel wardrobe. The socks are an extra nice bonus however they are much too large for me to use so I will be gifting them to a family member.

Excellent
This is the 3rd shirt I’ve bought. This one is long sleeved. I love the feel of them, the colours are vibrant and I love the weight. Good for spring and fall. I’ll wear the long sleeved one this winter to test it out. When the weather is warm, it keeps you cool. When it’s cold, it keeps you warm, so I’m not expecting anything different with the long sleeves. They wash well. I also plan to wear it in hot destinations to keep the sun from burning me when I’m walking at the beach.

Short sleeves
I loved the arctic blue colour. There wasn’t size 8 left so I opted for 10UK and although it’s a bit loose on the body, sleeves are the perfect length.I bought also the same top in 8UK in cream colour which although in my size and perfect fit on the body has way too short sleeves for me. (Slim 174cm with long limbs.)Material feels very lightweight and smooth. Ever so slightly sheer. A bit of stretch.I couldn’t believe it’s a merino because it has no itch whatsoever unlike my other merino wool tops from the different brand. But label says it is 100% merino wool.I might order another colour but if I do I will definitely go for a size bigger again due to sleeves length.

Tolles Merino Shirt
Schade, konnte bisher kein einziges Paar selbst anziehen!
