HOBIBEARKids Breathable Knit Sneakers Lightweight Mesh Athletic Running Shoes

Though I was apprehensive not knowing the brand, the boy wanted orange and chose these. He loves them and says they're really comfortable. He hates Velcro that doesn't reach and catches on rugs and clothing. These fit well and Velcro closes all the way. They're holding up well even after wearing them to school every single day for the last couple of months. Great value for the price.

I have been struggling to find quality shoes for my 7 year old son, who is hard on his shoes (this is the 3rd pair in this size we have purchased, last pair was an ASIC shoe and he wore holes through the top fabric after <5 months!). The soles have a nice grip, and are more rubber like than plastic. This is always a big selling point for me. I plan to buy his next sizes in this brand given the quality, price, and my son telling me that they are very comfortable.

They're ok for off-brand shoes. But the velcro is crap and goes bad so quickly. It's also has a super long section of elastic between the velcro ends (see where my thumb is) and my kid has to stretch it way over to get his shoes tight enough (see pics) and theres a lot of overhang. The velcro also starts coming apart from itself! It's happened several times with other pairs.This is at least the 3rd pair we have bought for each of our kids, but this issue keeps happening and we prob wont buy again. They're pretty great value for the price, but the issues arent worth it.The fabric above the toes also go bad and get pretty ugly (coming apart) within a few months... I kept buying them because I figured I would need to get the kids a new pair by the time these started having issues, but it's just not worth it any more to me. It might not be so bad for other people, but I'm trying to find a better shoe. I have a feeling I will have to go with name-brand.

My son typically wears and 11.5 wide in New Balance sneakers. It's been hard to find affordable sneakers that fit and in his size. I stumbled upon these. The size 12 fits perfectly with a little room in the toe area. Ended up buying the blue as well. I wish more colors were available in his size.

Great shoe with great price

My son is just barely in a size 12 (little kid) and the 12 of this shoe for like an 10/11. Other than that, they fit nicely.

Sigh, why oh why did I get sucked in to these cheap shoes? Because I'm an optimist. Because they looked cute. Because we really needed shoes quickly. But, BEWARE BUYER, you must resist the temptation! My 5 year old has been wearing these for the last 7 weeks and they're already falling apart. They were meant to be his summer sneakers and it's only mid-June and they're not going to make it much longer. The rubber on the toe box is pulling apart. The velcro is BALDING in some spots. The fabric is becoming fuzzy and piling (like a cheap sweater). All around a terrible idea to buy these. If you need a disposable shoe that lasts about a month, these are just right for you. Otherwise, hard pass.

My son picked these out and they were a good choice. Held up well.
