Replaced an old charger
This worked great to replace an old charger that I lost

Good portable option
I wanted to use this so I could charge my radio while camping, out on the move, or in my vehicle. It does it's job, but its very slow compared to the normal charger. I will continue using it, as I find it is the best option for camping where I can use a battery pack or a solar charger, meaning it's ready for the next days hike or when we take the ATVs out.

OEM battery charger
You can use this at home with a wall wart or plug it into a USB port on your computer, or you can plug it into a USB port in your car, or even a prtable charging battery.

Battery/USB power for HT
Works perfectly to recharge my UV5RA. I’m able to use the USB outlet in my car, wall plug or best of all my solar controller or a portable battery pack.

Smoked itself
While charging a UV5R this unit let all the smoke out, destroying itself. On the way out it also destroyed three USB ports on my type C docking station. Definitely caveat emptor!
