a must try
WOW!! only for the experienced coffee lover, super strong body, amazing aroma and a simply incredible clean finish. Up there if not better than kopi luwak and Jamaican blue coffees I've had.

Too acidic, no distinct notes - Definitely not worth the price.
I purchased the Himalayan region coffee after really liking Blue Mountain coffee by this same brand. However, I was thoroughly disappointed in this Himalayan. Not only did I have to wait over a month to receive it, but the coffee that arrived was just sub-standard. For one, it seems to be too acidic leaving a sour taste in the mouth. Furthermore, it goes bad quickly if not consumed within 15 minutes or so after brewing. Yes, coffee should ideally be consumed within 30 minutes of brewing however higher quality coffee tends to retain its taste even when it gets cold. Definitely not this one. I use a Moccamaster for brewing drip, so it has nothing to do with the brewing technique or equipment used. I compared a pot to one I brewed with a $15/lb bag I purchased locally, and to be honest the local batch was noticeably better. Not sure if its just that coffee from Nepal isn't that great to begin with or if this was a bad batch, but either way it was a rip-off. There wasn't a distinct taste and it was difficult to tell it apart from others. For $60/lb, I'd expect it to be noticeably better than mass produced store bought coffee which it wasn't (it was actually worse). I suggest trying a different region coffee from Volcanica. The Blue Mountain at the same price point is significantly better.TL;DR - No distinct taste or notes, too acidic, way too expensive for what you get - try something else.

A great coffee experience.
I served to 18 people and reviews were great. I love Nepali coffee since I was there in 2017.

Shedding Bitter Tears
The most bitter coffee I’ve ever tried, and that’s saying something. Not sure what kind of coffee the other verified purchasers recieved, but mine is bitter to the point where it is undrinkable.

Can't recommend
For the price, I was highly disappointed. Dry beans, not fresh, little flavor. I had high hopes.

Great coffee
Great coffee. Low acid and a mild aftertaste. Ground beans have a great odor that I think has a somewhat fruity smell.
