I was showing signs of insulin resistance based on medical tests. The doctor prescribed metformin at my request to head off possible diabetes. My dad had diabetes mellitus. I didn't feel good on this. I did some research and came across berberine. After additional research I established that 97% standard was the key to this product working. Metformin was prescribed but one of the side effects was diarrhea. I am retired and I play golf 6 days per week. After researching similar products and with NO positive recommendations form my Doctor, my research indicated Berberine may be suitable to try. I did. I do blood sugar test every days! I found product work equal too or better than Metformin and no side effects after three months of use. I would recommend buying it! my last Doctors review of my blood test, she advise me to keep doing what I am doing but would not endorse a non prescriptive product!.

This is the first Berberine HCl that I tried. Worked great for my blood sugar. I had some GI issues while using it. The next time I tried Healthy Alternatives next. My GI is much happier with the HA brand. It doesn't work as well with my blood sugar. Switching back.This is definitely the best Berberine HCl that I have used! However, some bottles seem to work better than others. Might also be that, due to back problems, I have been given steroids. I will continue to use it as am able I reduce my pharmaceuticals. It doesn't help that I currently unable to go the gym.

Ordered my first bottle of Berberine from PureVance Essentials and I think it is a great product as compared to the others that I have tried. The product seems to be a much higher quality and for my use has been an excellent choice. It has boosted my energy and for a 69 year old man loosing a few extra pounds has been very welcome. Seems to be helping with blood sugar levels. Not have the swings as much. Also, my lipid levels have improved.

I have been taking this Berberine for a month because my dr. said it could help with my blood sugar. I checked it this morning and my fasting blood sugar has gone from 119 to 98! Very happy!
