Excellent grab bar, but renew the suction
I love this grab bar, but note that the vacuum doesn't last forever. For that reason, I renew the suction every time I step into the shower. I use this bar for balance when I pirouette under the water with my eyes closed to rinse the soap off. I don't put full weight on it, even though I could -- it's strong enough to hold an elephant when the suction is "new". After a few days, though, the grip weakens, possibly because the ceramic tile is not perfectly smooth. I thought I was going to have to drill into the tile to mount a safety bar, but this product does the job just fine with no hassle.

Complete Garbage
Attempted multiple times to install this in my shower. The shower was dry - the surface was non-porous, applied pressure as I locked in the 'suction'. It detached from the wall with almost no force applied. Will not stick. Don't waste your money on this, it's complete garbage!

Wouldn't stay stuck on our tile
Our tile has a sort of rough and not perfectly smooth surface. These would stick to the tile but would pull free with some strain on them. If you have a really smooth tile surface these may work just fine.

Exactly What We Were Looking For
We are having renovations on our house. My MIL' shower was the first thing to be done. She had metal bars originally. Once we had the shower insert installed, our contractor suggested we find bars that suction to the wall of the shower instead of putting the old ones back in - having to drill holes to install them.My husband put these bars inside his mom's shower this morning as soon as they arrived. They were extremely simple to install, have great suction to the wall, sturdy and they are not moving or slipping at all. They will be easy to remove to clean the shower and clean the suction part of the bars which is a huge bonus.

It works!
I ordered these in January and now it's March. The bars stay stuck to the shower wall. The extra length (16" vs 12 or 10") is a definite plus. I am tall and I want something that I can reach easily and has a longer length of grab. I would definitely recommend getting the longer length.

Works Great
I normally do not purchase items with so few ratings. However, after reading the description and the price as well as knowing if they are not what they say I can return them through Amazon. I am extremely satisfied with these. I like the feel of the handle, easy to drip and to hold onto. Quick and easy to install, solid attachment, no wiggle. Extremely sturdy, I weigh 220 lbs. and after attaching to my shower wall I pulled them, tried to shake them, pulled down on them, very sturdy. Yes, I would recommend these. Just make sure before buying you know they will not stick to painted walls, in the description it clearly tells you what surface they can be used on. Make sure the surface is cleaned and dried before installing.Followup, after having these up for a few weeks I went to relocate one of them. It is true what they say, the longer they are up the stronger they become. This is exactly what happened. It is nice to know if I fall and grab on, it is not going to pull off. I am a 220 lbs. man, Again, I highly recommend, and make sure they are where you want them, moving them later will be a little challenging.

Easy and quick to install
One came off a couple of times at first but I cleaned the surfaces again and it seems to be holding well now
