I've ordered these twice now for my hubby, after the sad discovery that Trader Joes no longer carries Fireworks chocolate. He LOVES them. They survived being forgotten in the mailbox for 24hrs during our sub -10°F months (oops). Our second order arrived when it was 90°F, and I was amazed to find that they were packed in a sort of ice pack that kept them from melting. Thanks, seller! You're awesome!

Ok - these things are awesome. They are full of flavor and actually pop in your mouth... and people love them.As a result, the Chuao Firecracker chocolate bars are the perfect snack to put out for parties or meetings. They are an unusual chocolate treat - really good chocolate filled with little popping candy. They are super tasty and quite fun.I don't want people to hate my meetings... and by putting these in the middle of the table, I am offering a small but tasty way to say that I value their time - and that if they come back, they can look forward to more of these treats. Seriously, they are awesome - and I have found that people remember them and are grateful that I was thoughtful enough to provide them as a way to value people. They are a little more expensive than the cheap candy I can put out - but who would remember that? Or feel valued as a result? This is well worth the investment.

I recently tasted this bacon choc bar and without a doubt it is my new addiction. Not sure that I can afford that though but perhaps you need a diabetic good will ambassador? Seriously, I was in a sugar crises and had nothing with me (I must have used both of my emergency stashes). Luckily, a lady in the salon where I was finishing up had a few of these bars. Thank God she had them. I ended up eating her four and I did (barely) make it home, just a few miles away. I received my order of these today, together with a case of your potato chip variety. THANK YOU for making such a delicious product(s). Is there anywhere to find coupons or discounts? I am totally hooked.

I am over the moon that I was able to find and purchase this chocolate. I was turned onto this candy by my good girlfriend. She had while we were roasting marshmallows and sipping wine. She made me a s'mores with the Chuao candy and when I saw this candy will have your mouth singing. The heat and pop rocks just makes your throat tingle. And I love the taste.I was sad after while when most of the stores I would get them from were no longer carrying it and had to search elsewhere, and behold I found them on Amazon.I did like the packaging. The package was wrapped in thermal protective packaging plus secured by ice packs, that were already melted upon arrival. The chocolate appeared fresh.

My boyfriend and I first found this Chuao chocolate in maple bacon flavor when we were on the Queen Mary (the docked cruise ship in Long Beach) in June. My BF loves maple bacon and it sounded fun so we bought a bar. When we got home we put it in the fridge and forgot all about it - but a few weeks ago we remembered it and yum, Yum, YUM! So when I was getting ready to give my BF a pre-camping present (we're going camping for our first vacation together) I decided to make smores kits and couldn't think of anything better than maple bacon chocolate for the smores. I was so glad that they had these small bars. I know some reviewers have said that they didn't arrive whole - I didn't have that same experience. The sender took a lot of care in packing the box in a foil insulated bag with two freezer packs. So it's not ideal if you're getting these shipped and you live in the desert and they sit in the sun for awhile, but they made it to me safe and sound in Los Angeles and I figured since we are using them for smores anyway that it wouldn't matter if they got a little soft - but they didn't and I'm so excited to try these this weekend. I heard from Chuao that they already have a smores flavored chocolate bar and now I'm interested in trying that - but this time around we're having the maple bacon and I can't wait to give these to my BF. I'm including a couple of pictures. The marshmallows are those giant ones but the graham crackers are regular sized - so you can get an idea of how big the little bars are. I had enough to use 3 little bars for each smore (6 per bag - each bag is for two and I made four kits). The extra marshmallows were just to keep the bars from toppling over in the bag and for presentation - and because you can never have enough roasted marshmallows IMOHO anyway.

Worst tasting chocolate and you cannot even distinguish any bacon flavor. Even had an awful after taste that feels like you ate something burnt. God awful and because it's chocolate mini bars, it's not eligible for returns. Waste of money. Could've bought me a yummy a large New York oven brick pizza for the same amount of money.

A couple of days after Christmas, I visited my daughter and her kids, and they took me to a candy shop in Augusta, Maine. I was like a kid in a candy shop - oh, wait! I was, like, an old lady in a candy shop. I suggested that everyone choose what they fancied and began looking for my own selection. And settled on Chuao Chocolatier Spicy Maya simply because it looked warm. Inviting. And unusual.Everyone picked out something different. All of the candies were gourmet quality, and there were some really unique flavors in the mix. We sampled each other's purchases. And I was surprised to find that Chuao Spicy Maya was the tastiest of the bunch. So good, in fact, that I was sorry I hadn't bought a dozen bars!As soon as I returned home, I began searching online for more Spicy Maya and was pleased to find it available on Amazon. While the price is pretty steep, it really is extraordinary chocolate, and in my opinion it is certainly worth the price. A dark chocolate--not too sweet, but not bitter, either--with just a kiss of cinnamon and a delightful amount of chile and cayenne warmth. Not an obvious pepper FLAVOR, and not outright heat, just warmth.I also purchased Spicy Maya drinking chocolate, which I have not yet sampled, but I'm expecting it to warm my heart--and my bones.
