This knit cap because it’s XXL doesn’t look too small on your head. It’s nice and thick so keeps you warm and retains its shape. Love that it’s a deep black too. Doesn’t blow off your head either.

I don’t wear stocking caps because of a bad experience when I wore one for too long and it pulled at my hair and made it hurt for a long time afterwards. My head shape is wider than most even though I am an average size person so most stocking caps just don’t fit right. This one is comfy and soft and fits me just right. I feel like it would fit most unless you are petite. The extra room I think would just be bonus for those who don’t have a wider shaped head.

It is double thickness, so it is great for those colder days. It is "larger". I have long thick hair, and sometimes have a problem getting hats to fit.

I have huge noggin: 7 7/8. I can't wear ball caps, many googles, and for years, most beanies sucked. But this one fits like everyone else' looks. Wow. I can wear it low enough to cover my ears and still have the thing folded. Wow again! This is the best. I wear it all over now! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift, but when it arrived, I realized it wasn't going to work. It still seemed quite small. I decided to return it and order a different brand.

I purchased a few hats and he tried on several in stores and NOTHING fit his head. NOTHING. This actually fits his head. AND it's extremely warm for winters in upstate NY. He loves it.
