Good enough
I rated this so highly because my dog absolutely loves it. He's obsessed with flying creatures and this clearly engages his prey drive.Extremely difficult to fire it anything like is claimed in the item however it's enough of a distance to tire my dog out after a good few rounds of fetch. The rope element at the tail end allows for mild tug play. Because of this I can't use it with one of my dogs, who becomes possessive. The item provides too much for him to get a hold of.There's enough variation in texture for my dog to happily sit there chewing it, although I doubt the manufacturers recommend it.Material is thick and stitching is quite strong but it's still obviously not a toy for heavy chewers, possessive dogs etc.Good delivery.

Loveable toy, but poor quality
My dog absolutely loved this toy. It would fly somewhere between 20-40feet depending on the wind. It would float on water. However, the build quality is rather poor, it wasn't chewed but the stitching tore opening and the stretchy elastic broke after 10 uses in the park. The rope at the end of the toy was actually fastened by two cable ties. Im thinking would I buy another? as my dog loved and misses their ducky, but the poor build quality and value for money actually puts me off.

Our dog LOVES this toy!!!
We've now bought two of these. The first lasted us over a year although the elastic holding the head on came off about 6-months after. The body kept going strong with our dog never managing to tear into the duck or rip it. Unfortunately we lost it on a rooftop on a windy day. The second needed stitching and gluing around with wings within two weeks of purchase to keep it together, so I guess it really depends on how each individual toy was put together. That said, our dog absolutely loves his duck!Update: mid May, the elastic on the head broke, decapitating ducky and making him a throw toy which gets some good air, and is still his favourite toy!

Rips too easy and sling design is poor.
Great for 30 mins until he ripped into it. Not a big dog either and doesn't normally rip any of his toys but it just seemed too easy to do considering it's meant for big dogs. Should be made from different material. Also hard plastic at the end of body so if you don't move your thumb away quick enough when you launch it the hard plastic will smash straight into your thumb. Not a great design.

My Chocolate Labrador loves...them
From here to the moon and back, this is my Labradors FAVOURITE toy. Unfortunately they only last around 2 months before "Bluey" has to be replaced. Not surprising considering the amount of hammer they get. I just wish they were a reasonable cost. :(

It didn’t last a month
Gave to our dog at Christmas and it hasn’t lasted a month. It’s been ripped open and the stuffing pulled out. Let’s put things in perspective. We have an American Field Labrador that attends children’s hospitals for poorly kids to fuss over. Our dog occasionally played with it and rarely gnawed it. I have to say I was surprised when I noticed the body and head were made from a plastic. It’s obviously an inferior product and would strongly suggest anyone to steer clear of it. Save your money and go elsewhere. Sorry Nerf, this is rubbish

Poor quality; not "super strong" at all
Dog absolutely loved this toy and it's fun to play with . Unfortunately, the quality is very poor and it has not lasted more than two outings, even though I stitched it together again after the first time. The outer material is very weak and soft and would only be "durable" for small, soft-mouthed dogs, which is not how the toy is marketed. After a few throws, one wing had fallen off and the stuffing was escaping in several places. I didn't allow my dog to play with the toy on his own, or chew the toy between throws and we didn't play any tug games. I threw it, he retrieved it, he dropped it and I threw it again. Until it fell apart. It probably lasted about 10 throws before it was completely broken with stuffing falling out of both sides and around the front, and one wing hanging off. Would not recommend.

Cost me £600.
The rope on the back broke off the first time I pulled it, then my dog ripped it the heck apart. I wish I could return it and get my money back but it's essentially been turned to dust.Edit: months later my kitten found a piece of rubber from this, I had to pay £600 to have it removed from her intestines.
