The fragrance is stronger than I expected. I had to turn my warmer lamp off after an hour because the strong fragrance would give a headache.

I was given a Kai Skylight Candle almost a year ago as a housewarming gift and immediately fell in love with it... and that was before I even unwrapped the package. The candle itself absolutely did not disappoint. The Kai candle comes in a clean and happy green box that screams of "fresh and crisp but not overpowering" and that's exactly how the candle smells. It reminds me of a breezy, spring day in an idyllic setting outdoors and conjures images of standing in a garden at Versailles or gazing at the ocean from a plush yard with rolling hills.In the past I found it challenging to find good candles with mild but lovely, fresh scents (most are too heavily fragrant with perfumes). When the Kai Skylight candle burns, it has a modest, pleasingly fresh and slightly floral scent. This candle also has a very slow and clean burn, leaving no mess. It is suitable for year-round use and my guests always ask about it and then order one for themselves.I have ordered multiple Kai Skylight Candles to give as gifts and always make sure to have a few in inventory at my home. I hope they never discontinue this scent as I've found my go-to candle for any occasion.

I love the Kai scent, so finding a Kai candle was a treat! The smell is a blend of tuberose, gardenia, and jasmine… it reminds me of vacations in Hawaii. The candle's scent is medium-strong but not so strong as to cause headaches. It can be smelled lightly from about 8-10 feet away when burning, and from about 3 feet away when unlit. It seems to be slow burning - I've had it lit for several hours three nights in a row and the wax has barely gone down. A little pricey but a luxury scent and it seems to be a good value if it continues to burn at this slow rate! :-)I don't give it 5 stars because the glass container, while having a nice thick glass bottom, has rather thin side walls of the glass cylinder, which make it look just a little, shall we say, inexpensive. That said, I will be purchasing more! :-D

Oh, my hopes for this candle were so high! I use the perfume and body glow, both of which are great, so I wanted to try the candle. And it is very pretty, almost zenlike it its simple white candle in a straight clear glass. It burns just fine, no prob there. It's just that you can't smell it! It's like any other plain candle. If you stick your nose close and really inhale, you may catch a whiff of the Kai.For its name and price, I expected more. I hoped it would effuse out at least a few feet like my favorite candles do. So, for the money, you can do much much better. If you need the Kai scent in your air, maybe use the body glow as an aromatherapy spray!

Great smelling candle. I wish it was a bit stronger but I really enjoy the natural scent this candle has and it makes me feel like I am on vacation.

Kai products have the most beautiful scent ever! These candles are no exception. The only thing is I wish the candle itself was a little bit prettier, it looks somewhat generic sitting on a shelf. Otherwise, the scent is amazing.

It's very-very strong in smell - for my tastes too strong - I also have the accompanying body lotion and it, too, is very strong and I only use it very so often. I'd not get this again nor would I pass on as a gift in the future either.

If you love Kai you will love this candle. I really do not understand the poor reviews as this candle has a wonderful throw. I am able to burn the candle at work and you can smell it through the whole office. Everyone loves the smell. Co-workers have offered to buy more when it runs out! Must have for the Kail lover!
