This battery is a vast improvement on my last one that had been slowly deteriorating for the last few years. The charging time is great and the discharge time is hours and hours which just seems like bliss after the 1/2 hour discharge of my last! The two downsides, which I think is simply because it is not a genuine HP battery, are that the predicted remaining battery life is a massive lie, and that when the battery life reaches some point below 20% it is in a real danger zone as the power will just suddenly cut out without any warning. When my old battery was exhausted it would have life left to go to sleep and protect all my work, but this just goes dead and I lose everything, not to mention any damage to my hard drive. This isn't a big deal though, it just means keeping an eye on the battery life which is pretty simple.**UPDATE** After another few weeks the battery now cuts out without warning at 30-40% discharged. It has cost me a lot of lost work and is extremely frustrating. I had learned to keep an eye on the battery around 25% but this has been catching me unawares in the middle of time-consuming edits. I still love the battery life but I am so disappointed by this cut out period. I am going to look into replacing.

Stpped accepting charge after 5 months, no way shown to return or contact seller

Reasonably priced and a higher spec to the original. Came partly charged as per shipping requirements, charged up on the laptop before use and it is working fine so far.

Very happy with this battery. One charge doesn't last particularly long when in use which is ok for me and it doesn't run down when idle and charges up quite quickly. I think it's very good value and would buy again.

Fitted my Laptop perfectly...holding its Charge....running everything thrown at it and without getting hot. Cheap to buy and well worth the small amount of Money it cost.
