Unfortunately these had to be returned but not due to the style, quality etc as these were great but because my husband is flat footed they were uncomfortable due to the raised part of the insole.

A really nice sandal

I purchased these shoes because I wanted a pair of sandals that would support my arch (I have fallen arches) and when I tried them on, they were so comfortable!Unfortunately I had to return them as the buckle around the ankle was rubbing up against my ankle bone - which is no fault of the shoe, it's just that's how my foot is built! I have returned them and have ordered more Birkenstocks in a different style.I was very impressed with the build quality of the shoe and the comfort and support of the sole. They do come up slightly bigger than expected, and also wider than I expected. Even the narrow shoe was slightly too wide for my foot so that's something to be aware of if you're deciding wether to order wide or narrow shoes from them.Overall, I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a solid sandal that will support their feet and be comfortable to wear! The look like they will last a good few years, so it's great value for money.

I ordered size 39. I am size 5.5 . They were sold as size 39 but more like a size 7. I then missed the return date so left with an expensive pair of Birkenstocks that were no use to me! Don’t buy them on line is my advice.

Thank you for the Birkenstocks. They seem fine, i do not have an issue with them other than there is a flock coating on underside of the leather straps, where previously the leather touched the skin.My issue is that i was advised on purchase that I could have free delivery in 3-5 days, but on paying the information given was 8 or 9 days, so I paid for the 1-2 days delivery, but they arrived in 4 days, and were left on the doorstep by the postman. I was in all day so thay could have been stolen or could have suggested I was out - but that is a problem that I will also chase up.

I had to buy a new pair having left mine in UK pre Covid exilé in France. I first bought my Milano sandals in Cairns, OZ back in 2013, and they have been all round Australia and down the middle, New Zealand, The Caribbean, 2 European river cruises and every summer in France since 2013. I have only had to have them re-soled once, They are so comfortable I just had to bite the bullet and buy a second pair as nothing compares with them.

Didn’t suit my foot shape. So sadly had to return otherwise would have been perfect .

Remember these have fake leather straps on top of the well known and liked Birkenstock sole and base. If you're hoping for the real leather upper Birkenstocks, you'll have to pay more! Other than that these are a perfectly good pair of sandels.
