Originally I thought this was a robe for kids, but upon receiving it, I quickly realized it’s more of a towel cape than a robe. It has one snap button at the neck and has a hood - the rest is more of a normal towel. This creates the cape effect.It’s super soft and so far has good absorbency. Washing it is very easy and it’s held up well. My son who has sensory issues, loves how soft it is, which is a major bonus for us.4.5/5 would recommend.

My son loves this towel and thinks of it more as a blanket for when he’s done with a bath. It’s much softer and more plush than a typical towel material. If your child has sensory sensitivity with materials, this is a great, soft towel. Now, I will warn it doesn’t dry off as well as a typical towel, when wet directly out of the tub the towel sticks to the skin. You just need to have a better grip on the towel to use it to wipe down and dry off. There are two snaps along the edges of the towel, but snapping this together doesn’t do much in securing it to stay on a child’s body; it’s still going to be lose enough to fall off or hang off. My son using this is three for reference.

My daughter loves this because of softness and comfort. The fact that it looks like a cape she enjoys using it. I am not just confident that it has a good absorbency but since she loves it and she dries up after few minutes, this is definitely a good towel for her. It serves its purpose.

The thing that made me decide to get this towel was the hood part of the towel. I already have plenty of towels. Big towels, beach towels... No matter what towel I use it's hard for me to get my toddler wrapped up and cover his head and body so he doesn't get cold when he gets yanked out of the bathtub. This has solved that problem. The hood part easily hangs on his head and keeps him warm and the rest of the towel just wraps up the rest of him.If I had seen this in the summer, I probably wouldn't have got it because it's not as important to get him dry and keep him warm...but it's the middle of winter and it's pretty cool in my house... So I want to keep him warm and get him dry as fast as possible, and this towel does the best job out of all the towels I've tried. The material is really soft and absorbs the water very well. It feels like the material that a lot of nicer bathrobes are made of.

I ordered this for my 9 year old in the hope it would fit. Usually these hooded ‘towels’ are for much younger children which is a shame as they are useful. This does fit her but is still a little short. We got it in blue and it is a lovely deep blue/purple colour. I would say that this is definitely more fleece than toweling though! I’m not sure what use it would be around the pool for instance! It takes longer to dry than a conventional toweling one and I don’t like the feel of it on wet skin. My daughter however really likes it and she says it is soft and comfy to wear.Bearing these points in mind I would recommend for children up to 8 years of age.

This towel is a good quality product. Your child can wrap himself around him. This towel makes your child nice and dry.I ordered blue one for my son because he likes blue. This blue colour is quite nice.It’s quite soft as well.I would definitely recommend this towel.

My son is a huge fan of hooded towels for after his swimming classes, and having outgrown his current one, I was keen to give this Hiturbo option a go.We got this towel in the navy colour and, wow, is it soft! The towel is made from a fluffy, almost velvet material and is unbelievably cosy after coming out of a cold swimming pool.My son is a small 7-year-old, and this towel is a lovely and roomy on him — not too long but with plenty of growing room.The towel has a hood, which is great for drying the hair, and poppers so that it stays on while walking around the changing rooms.I would say this towel isn't quite as absorbent as a standard towel but dries the body well enough with a bit of extra time. The soft cosiness definitely more than makes up for this fact, and my son has no issues with getting to wear it a little longer.This towel is absolutely ideal for post-bath, post-swimming, the beach and holidays generally. It would make a lovely gift and at £18.99 is an absolute bargain!Highly recommend.

This is a towel of fluffy/ velvet / fleece type fabric, and as such has different pros and cons to normal cotton/bamboo towels. One of my children has always preferred a fleece towel to stay nice and warm out the bath, whereas another wont use one as it takes ages to dry off with it.Pros:Nice and warmSoft on the skinLarge size, with poppers to keep it onCan absorb a lot of water over a longer timeNegatives:Absorbs water slowly, so takes much longer to dry the skinOften my kid's skin is still slightly damp after a while wrapped in the towel, which makes getting changed more tricky. Can't always hang around in a towel all day!If you want a fluffy fleecy towel, this one is a good one. However, fleecy towels won't suit everyone.

This has been used for my neice's swimming lessons to put on her after she has been swimming & showered to dry her quickly and keep her head warm.Very velour feel to it, but dries very well & dries out quickly, so she will also be using it when she goes camping. Note that this does not have any sleeve holes for kid's arms, so its use is really to help dry kids & not as a dry robe or similar, where they might be wanting to do things while drying out.
