arrived damaged
could not review the tea as it arrived damaged. But have Always used Sainsbury's and know any strength would be good. Money was returned straight away so will order again. Have drunk Sainsbury tea for many years.

I will keep ordering this
I have ordered many dozens of varieties of black tea from England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, but I will have to say this is one of my very new favorites. There are very few I will order again. The taste of this one is so good that I make sure that it is my first cup of tea every morning. I am a heavy black tea drinker. (I am drinking varieties just to get rid of them and not order them again, but this one will be my staple.) Another variety I have liked lately is Brodie’s Edinbugh tea but I think I might like this one even better than that. I like my tea very strong and this Sainsbury’s Extra Strong is really the best of the extra strong black teas.

Makes a great cuppa.
I like a strong cup of tea, and these are perfect for what I want; they easily take the place of using two regular bags. A side benefit is that your tea is ready sooner!

Good tea, but
Not as good as the Sainsbury's Red label. It says bold taste, but it definitely feels like a less stronger tea. I don't hate and in a pinch I would buy it again. Next time I will buy the Sainsbury's Fairly Traded Red Label.

Good Old English Tea
I was afraid this was going to be an "American" takeoff like Lipton's but it really is exactly like the Sainsbury's Extra Strong. Makes 6 whole cups in my Brown Betty! I love it, but I want to give it 4 stars because the box came crushed, so one of the bags was all over the place when I opened it up. I am giving it 5 stars because the TEA itself is the very best of English Tea.

My wife loves tea
She get a recommendation from a British friend for the Sainsbury Red Label as a great morning tea. She was an immediate convert! We tried the extra strong, it was great too, but not as smooth as the Red Label.

I haven’t tasted the difference between the regular one and the extra strength.

Very Very good
I bought there RED BLACK TEA BAGS AND THE GOLD LABEL. BLACK TEA BAGS. Both WERE GREAT. We could not discern a difference between the red and the gold. So GET THE RED as it was 50% cheaper.
