Chroma Pop
PROS:1. Fell in love with these at the beach! Wow! They really do make the colors pop and are so clear! It's like I'm watching everything in HD!As for the fit--2. I have a heart shaped face so I always have a hard time finding glasses that compliment my face shape. These fit really well and were flattering.3. The nose pieces are awesome also, because they're integrated into the frame, they don't pull out my hair when I have to wear my sunglasses on the top of my head.4. The curved frame were excellent at keeping the sunlight and uv rays out of my sight even in the corners of my eyes!5. The curved frames were super comfortable even when I had to lay face down/sideways on my arm. They hugged my face and didn't poke into me like other glasses would have.6. Weight--super light and comfortable. Although, the nose pieces did leave dents on the bridge of my nose, it didn't bother too much--what glasses don't?CON'S:Not too much to say here, other than--1. I know these don't cost as much as their competitors, but still, for the price, they should have at least come with a hard case. They were sent in a plastic mailing bag, inside a paper (not cardboard) box, inside a cloth bag. Luckily, they arrived undamaged and were fine. However, I think SMITH really should up their game and at least include a branded hard case and cleaning cloth. This is one of the reasons why I couldn't do 5 stars.2. Not mirrored lens. Another reason why I didn't give 5 stars. I hesitated on purchasing these sunglasses because I wanted the mirrored look. After a while I got used to the fact that they weren't mirrored, and the chroma pop and polarization outweighed the need for a mirrored pair of glasses. But they would have been A+++ , 5 stars if they were.

Classic design and so comfortable
I have been wearing this style for ten years and they are perfect for everyday wear (not activities that make you sweat). BUT I have watched the price creep up from $100 to $170 and that’s a bummer. Will probably start to look for a similar profile at a lower price point.

Excellent
I purchased these to replace another style Smith sunglasses. I've owned Smith for many years (decades) simply because I keep them forever, and they either get replaced under warranty, or for $50 Smith replaces them when I've dropped them, etc. These are far less durable than the resin frames, I mean they just are, look at 'em. I bought these as driving glasses, not for work, travel, or to toss around. They have home in the car or on my face, but they're not designed for lots of high impact activity. If you drop them, they'll likely break, aside from gnarly scratches. If you sit or step n them, they'll break. Don't buy these if you're clumsy or don't have money to burn. These 7-base (or whatever they are) glasses are far superior to the flat traditional aviators. The Serpico's don't have the high quality glass that my other Smith's have, but they're lighter and very comfortable for extended wear. The optics are just fine but I know they'll scratch much easier than the glass lenses. I also tried the Serpico Slims and they were too small for my face. The Smith Gray Man Elite also didn't measure up to these for me. These exceeded my expectations.

Came bent
Nice glasses, but no possibility for adjustment. Mine came bent. And still don’t fit right. Will probably return.

Best aviator style sunglasses
I've been through a lot of aviators but this is the first pair that I feel fits and looks better than all others. First, the arms of the frame are higher than most so it sits and feels more comfortable than most. Second, unlike most aviators, these are curved, not flat. It makes for a better fit against your face and sits under hats much better. Because of that curve it also fits on narrow heads better than most.

These are my new go to glasses.
I bought these as a present for myself for fathers day. Lets start by saying that I have a big round head. So most shades squeezed across my temples or looked a bit small on my face. Other problem was that I was never happy with the coverage of the lenses. You either got sun above, or below. I like the classic aviator frame, and didn't care for any of Oakleys offerings. Their prizm lenses were very expensive and the gauge 6 and gauge 8 models looked cheap. So I decided to try these with Smith's chromapop which is similar to oakley's prizm. The Smith's are a prefect fit. They stay put no matter what. I use these as casual/driving glasses. I love the chromapop effect on a sunny day. However it can be a little much on a heavily overcast day, but on those occassions, I probably dont need the sunglasses... The larger lenses provide great coverage and look good on my big round head.Only gripe is that they didn't come with a case, but thats not hardly a deal breaker. I returned a pair of oakley gauge 6 after purchasing these glasses, so the $100 that I saved will buy me a case :)I like these enough that I'm tempted to buy a second pair as a backup....

Cheap delicate garbage. DO NOT BUY!
I got suckered by them. Don't get suckered.3 weeks ago I decided to order them and try them. Never heard of Smith. Read a few cheering reviews. Thought they are worth a try. Looked past the non glass lenses, normally that is a no go for me, but "anti-scratch technology ' blah blah blah. They fit okay. Things looked good through them. About 10 days ago I noticed the frames bent. Tried to gently bend them back but it was hopeless. Moreover, how they got bent is beyond me. They did nothing but sit on my face or in their hard shell case that came with them on my desk. I figured I would just suck it up... stuff happens...Now today I'm driving with my Girl and she looks and them and says she sees a scratch in them. Again.. for three weeks they have done nothing but sit on my face or in their hard shell case that has sat on top of my desk or the dashboard of my car. I get so pissed off I take them off and through them out the drivers window to get crushed by oncoming cars on the highway. I got suckered by their fancy marketing. Don't get suckered. These are not the glasses you are looking for.

Cool and functional - worth the price (on sale)!
I've coveted these sunglasses for a couple of years, through a few different retailers, including Smith. Any time I found them on sale, they were already sold out, or had a lens colour that wouldn't work for my needs. I was thrilled, to find them here on sale, in my preferred colour-way and with the ChromaPop lenses. The matte gold frame is nice -- not too flashy, but trendy all the same. The slight wrap to these lenses shields you from the sun that much more, and also makes them look almost custom in fit. ChromaPop is just a polarized lense, from what I can tell -- and maybe a more clear optical lens? -- but it makes a huge difference if you compare it to a standard, non-polarized lens.Fit is as expected. I have a medium-to-large sized face, and these fit great. I also have long eyelashes, and these still work -- the nose-pads are adjustable, but I found they fit right out of the box.Speaking of box, my only -- ONLY -- complaint in buying these from Amazon was that they came in a bubble envelope. So Amazon, which packs toilet paper into boxes surrounded by air-pads, threw expensive sunglasses into the shipping stream with NO protection whatsoever. And since Smith is cheap and doesn't include a hard case even with premium glasses, the box these were in was beat up and battered. I had a sinking feeling as I opened the package, but thankfully -- somehow -- the glasses were intact. It's a weird oversight (no pun intended) on Amazon's part not to have thrown these in a small box for protected shipping. But I guess if they had been damaged, they'd have been replaced, too. (Shrug!)Overall, highly recommend, if you get'em on sale like I did, and you want an aviator'esque sunglass style from a reputable brand. Whichever colour you choose, my matte-gold with brown ChromaPop lens pair will remain my perfect choice!

Love these
On my second pair(sat on my last ones)! Love how they wrap around the side and have no distortion from it! Smith optical is high quality. You will love these. If you are a pilot be warned they are polarized so glass avionics can be an issue to see.

These sunglasses are great. In the product description it mentions it comes with a hard case but it actually does not come with a hard case. Bit of false advertising! With the regular Serpicos the temple ends fold into the lenses and damaged the lenses pretty bad. The Serpico 2.0 has a new design and the temples do not touch the lenses anymore when folded. A nicely upgraded product.
