Though the plastic could possibly be broken, I think this is a good alternative to the more expensive locks. I'm hoping that anyone who wants to use my hose will just move on to the next house or so and not mess around with this lock once they see it. It's definitely worth the price since it comes with the lock and two keys.

This little gadget to lock your spigot is perfect. At first I thought I wouldn't like the key concept, but discovered it was a nice feature, when unlocking, the key stays in the lock so it doesn't get seperated from lock until you re-lock. It's easy to use and serves its purpose.

Sometimes people get water from my outdoor faucet and accidentally leave it dripping. With this faucet lock I don't have to be concerned about wasting water in the desert! Very easy to put on a regular outdoor faucet.

First thing I will say about this is that it is just a simple plastic cover. It feels little on the flimsy side but it does deters people. It fits decently. Even when I pulled it up it did not cause any friction that could remotely be used to unlock the water. The cover is very big. It will lean to one side due to the lock so just be away of that. There are gaps for water to flow through so I would wash this periodically to avoid any mold from growing. The device looks decent and it is easy to put on and take off. It protects my water from being used after a random person was using my house water to wash his bike. Now the lock deter peopel from doing that. The lock is not bad. It does provide two keys so you can keep one safe somewhere and use the other one. The lock is secure on the plastic loop. Overall this will act a good deterent from people trying to use your water but it is not the most secure. It can be broken being only a plastic piece. It feels thin. The lock is at least good and you can easily unlock it with the key. The lock also requires the key to remain inside when it is unlocked so harder to lose or misplace the key after taking the lock off.

My neighbor insisted on using my water for her garden. This certainly stopped that. And it isn't too difficult to quickly remove so i can use the faucet.

I never thought I’d have to lock my outdoor water faucets. That was until I found a comercial van from the company Raider Rooter filling up a 500 gallon tank they had for their business. The nerve of some people! They won’t be able to use my water now. Or anyone else. This system is sturdy and keeps thieves from using your water for free.

I found out The neighborhood kids were opening and playing in my outdoor water faucet while i was away from home. Can’t be paying extra for water right now in these hard times lol. and because im afraid of confrontation, i didn’t say anything to my neighbors and just bought this instead. I keep the keys (came with one and one spare) hanging by the front door so they’re easy to grab on the way out to use the hose. I like that it covers only the knob and i can keep the hose attached to the faucet. It’s kinda ugly but it gets the job done.

I didn't like that it was made of cheap plastic that can easily be broken or Crack from outdoor weather. But at least it cane with a padlock and 2 keys. Hopefully it will be a deterrent to discourage from illegal use of my outdoor faucet!..
