I really like this filing cabinet. The build quality is quite soilid and it works really well. The fit and finish was perfect. The parts lined up correctly and all the holes were drilled in the right spots. It does take considerable time to assemble because there are a lot of metal parts that need to be screwed together. Do not try assembling this item while drunk or high. Also, If you are an idiot and do not possess the ability to read technical papers and understand schemtic diagrams, then you should probably hire your next door neighbor's teen-ager to assemble this for for you.

Bought this for my home office. Its very sturdy,strong and love the sleek look. The white is not bright but is a very soft look. Also the draws glide nicely and most important the cabinet does not tip! Its very sturdy! Took about 25 minutes to ensemble. Good price and value!

I was pretty excited to receive this equipment since I have many documents that need to be filed away neatly.The packaging was pretty good, so I will give them that. However, the instruction manual is not the greatest. It takes time to decipher what the pictures are saying and where what goes and in what direction it goes in or on. Had to use the video in conjunction with the manual just to piece things together as the steps get increasingly more confusing as you get closer to the finish line.The metal itself is alright, it's not anything to write home about. For the price point I would have expected something much sturdier but it's malleable enough that if I wanted to, I could easily bend it. Once it's all put together though it does become a little sturdier, but buyer beware.Now for the most absolutely frustrating part. After spending two hours putting this together, I go to put the drawers in, and they don't close all the way. I try every drawer, pick it all apart, put it back together again, loosen screws, straighten it all out and it still refuses to close. Gets in about 3/4 of the way and then jams every single time with every drawer.Needless to say, I wasted two hours of my life assembling and another hour disassembling it. Maybe my product is defective, I don't know but for the price point of spending near two hundred dollars I would have expected better. Buyer beware, for me this is absolute junk since it doesn't work as intended.

The product was really well packaged - no damage or anything. Sadly the instructions are at the very bottom of the box. It's very flimsy and difficult to put together. After 45 minutes I have the back and sides sort of together, it wiggles and isn't stable. Yes the screws are all the way in, can't be tightened anymore. It is definitely not a one person job to put together. In the second photo it only looks like its together because I have it propped up. If I laid it down then it would fall flat.I'm debating on keeping it. Will report back if I decided to keep it or return it.Update - the seller has been very communicative regarding building this item. I am moving this up to 4 stars from 2, simply for the responsiveness of the seller! They have been more than helpful in getting this to work for me. It was tough, but I can still use the product and the seller has been most helpful!

It was somewhat of a pain to put together. I was thinking it would come ready to go. It was not difficult to put together, just took a little time. The lock does not work. I followed the directions exactly, so I'm not sure why it's not working. It was too much of a hassle to put it together I'm not going to take it apart and ship it back to return it.Not sure why they shipped it but USPS. That was definitely a pain. They wouldn't deliver it because it was too big and heavy. So I had to wait an extra day and go to the post office and pick it up myself. This was definitely a big negative.Overall the cabinet is nice. But the lock Not working and having to go and pick it up myself from the post office are big negatives.

i thought it would have came assembled … my heart dropped at the site of a FLAT box for a 3-drawer file cabinet 😩 however, although very time consuming and somewhat taxing on my back, i couldnt be happier with the end product !!! it met my much needed expectation !!!

I was impressed at the structure and sturdy feel of the cabinet. Also the instructions were fairly easy to follow. Assembly was painless.

Nice quality for the price.

I had been looking for a somewhat shallow 2-drawer filing cabinet due to limited space in my residence. After going to the local office supply store and not finding anything that matched my criteria, I resorted to going online. I found this cabinet which checked every box in my search. It was the perfect overall size, could handle letter and legal sized documents, was sturdy, had extension railings, and easy to follow directions which made assembly quite effortless. I’m not sure why some of the reviews stated that it was hard to assemble. If you organize the parts numerically and alphabetically then follow the step-by-step pictorial instructions, the cabinet goes together in a straightforward manner. The bonus was the inclusion of a pair of gloves, the appropriate screw driver, and most important, the packaging. Yes, so many times I have read that the items arrive damaged but not in this case. The cabinet pieces were very well packed with a heavier cardboard box, no extra room for movement, and metal corner pieces (unrelated to the cabinet) that protected any damages that might occur in transit. I’ve included a picture of the corner pieces. Oh, and one last thing. The item arrived much sooner than expected.

Assembly was relatively easy. However the drawers do not slide all the way in. They are on the tracks but stop approximately 1/2 inch from back. Any suggestions?
