Convenient and Easy to Use
I wanted a flat top scale with simple functions for weighing my sourdough starter and also simply to add ingredients into the mixing bowl without having to weigh them separately. The tare function button allows me to set the scale back to zero with the bowl on top so that I don't even have to do any maths when adding more ingredients to the bowl. It's a compact size at 21.5cm x 8.5cm with about 15cm space lengthways on top without obscuring the digital display. It can hold my very large ceramic mixing bowl and I can still see the display. I just pop it back into the kitchen drawer when not in use. It's stainless steel, easy to wipe clean and has just two buttons. One for on/off/reset and the other to choose the measurement you want. Easy-peasy!Oh and it came with batteries included. Excellent! When I feed my sourdough starter I have to discard half of it and then add 150gms of flour and 150ml of water. It stays in the container when I do this. I know that my container weighs 120gm. What I've been having to do is subtract the weight of the container from the whole weight, then halve the sourdough weight, keep that figure in my head, then add the weight of the container back on so I know what the final weight should be after I've taken half of the sourdough starter out. Confused? Imagine then being distracted and forgetting the figures your trying to remember. So how does this scale help me? I have an identical container with nothing in it. I put it on the scale. It weighs it. I press the tare (on/off) button. It sets the display back to zero. When I then put my identical container with the sourdough in it on to the scale. It then magically subtracts the weight of the container so all I have to think about is halving the amount I see on the display. I wish I didn't have to weigh a separate container first and could just input the weight to subtract, but here were are, it's a scale not a calculator. It works for me. No more precariously balancing bowls on a scale with the pan removed. This is flat, it will accommodate all of my plates, bowls and dishes. I'm very happy with it.

A very good upgrade from standard food scales - fantastic features
I recently had the chance to test out the Bisonbody Digital Food Kitchen Scale, which comes with a smart app and several intriguing features. As someone who regularly tracks food intake using a food tracking app and has used standard kitchen scales, I was keen to see how this scale would improve my already pretty ridged tracking routine. One of the best features for me is the unit conversion. As someone who often finds recipes online, the hassle of converting measurements from imperial to metric can be frustrating. This scale's unit conversion feature simplifies the process immensely, and I will happily keep on using it for this purpose alone.Another aspect I was curious about was the scale's ability to track nutritional information. As a vegetarian, I'm always interested in understanding the nutritional content of the foods I consume regularly as I have to be careful about meeting all of my nutritional needs. The smart app integration with this scale made it easy to access this information, and was more reliable than whatβs recorded on my usual food tracking app, so it scored highly here, too.In terms of design, the stainless steel looks good and is practical and easy to clean. The tare function is also very useful, allowing me to measure ingredients in their containers by subtracting the weight of the container β my old scales had this, and I used it all the time, so this is something that's important to me.Overall, this is a significant upgrade from standard scales, especially with the unit conversion and nutritional tracking features. 5/5

Nice clear display
The media could not be loaded. At the time of this review you can buy these scales for around Β£25.This set of scales needs three AAA batteries that are included.First thing I noticed was how big clear and bright the display on these scales is.The weight measure is very close to the levels of my current off brand, smaller digital scales, who is to say which one is right, all I can say is they are close to each other. There is an app β Fitday+ β to use the scales. The interesting bit is that once you weigh something, open the app and click on the + inside the circle above the weight β¦If you then add the food ( from a huge choice ) it will tell you details like the protein, fat , kcal, carbohydrates and fibre content of what you have weighed !I have no idea how accurate the information is but the details is very informative and itβs extremely clever.I recommend this set of scales, amazing features for the price, I hope you find the review helpful
