For the price I am happy.I would file the plug in edges.
I bought a DE-5000 ESR tester on amazon resale for a discount. But came with no acceseries.So I purchased these so I could use my DE-5000. I did read about fileing the edges down so they would slide in easier.So I did and I think it helped.For the price I am happy with them.I have only used them three times so far and I am dieing to get back to use them. My schedule has been so jacked up that I have not had the free time to do so. I am thinking about using some vacation time to dive into my DE-5000.

Need modification to work on DE5000
Would be a 5 star, except you need to file down the blades to have them fit in the device. Why they were not made to be an exact fit is puzzling.

There is no need to modify this device for use with DE-5000
I have yet to learn how to use the device, but the reviews stating that you have to file off the connection pins is incorrect. Simply insert the unit with the tail to the left applying pressure towards the right and downward to connect, then shift the unit to the left to secure once inserted. I’ve much to learn about electronics, but I have studied mechanical engineering 🙃

You need to file down the edges of the insert.
Well. It does not fit the de-5000 out of the box.If you force it to plug in you WILL bend the tab clasps and the unit will not work any longer.If you look at the edges of the connectors that came with the unit. The edges have been filed to a point. To insert between the connectors. You must file the edges similarly on the new units. They will work fine. Note. The direction it is plugged in matters. The cable should be to the left.

Good quality but the blades need a bit of smoothing to fit meter
Purchased for DE-5000 LCR meter. Good build quality. Only deficit is, as noted by others, plug blades are square sided and difficult to insert into meter. However, a couple of minutes of gentle filing with a fine tooth metal file rounded the blade metal and separator board and it inserts easily and smoothly now.Will update with testing results beyond initial calibration with the meter. So far, with that one caveat, I'd recommend these leads.

Kelvin Clips for your LCR meter
Great pair of kelvin clips for my DE-5000 LCR meter. Early on I had made one but this is much better. Checked it against my make and the results for measuring small resistances are very close to each other. Also claims to be compatible with most LCR meters. Good value.

Nice Kelvin clips
Not too much to say about this other than it's well made and works with my LCR multi-meter. Connector not terribly long so you have to position the work piece somewhat close, but you'd want to do that anyway. The clips feel good in the hand and have sufficient spring force to hold securely. All-in-all I'm happy with these and don't have any problem recommending them to anyone looking for a decent set of Kelvin clips.
