Okay, so obviously when I bought these I didn't look at the measurements because when I opened them, all I could say was "d**n, these are small". Honestly, I thought they were a larger diameter. But I used them anyway way and DAGNABIT!! I really like these. I have some silicone items: they're either too thick (which make it had to remove items) or they are really thin (which means you need to be careful or you're going to rip the silicone). THESE? They are a great in between; neither thin nor thick.Now the 2.1" diameter... think bite size or Oreo. I made chocolate chip cookies. Tbsp scoop and each and lets see... cooled until slightly warm and time to remove. Couldn't really just popped them out so I flipped them over and ran a finger around the inside of the circle to loosen them up and them pinched an edge at the bottom and the cookies fell out. I think a couple kind got stuck at the edge before falling out so I had to help them but otherwise, SUPER EASY!Wasn't sure if you're suppose to but I stuck them on the top shelf of the dishwasher after they cooled to wash. Although, after the wash cycle finished I pulled them out to air dry. They don't seem compromised but I haven't used again... but I will for sure! I'm really happy with them. I don't know about cake or cheesecake use but I do bake a bit and have to make them so I'll try these and see how it goes. I just need more of the molds... 2 dozen just isn't enough!
